As I am making this post, I am realizing that it's one of the last times I'll have the awesome <i>Discount Armageddon</i> cover icon as my default. It always changes to reflect my upcoming book, and DA isn't the new baby anymore. It's a bittersweet feeling. I'm so excited to have this book out in the world, and yet.<br /><br />And yet.<br /><br />I've been doing lots to get ready for this book release. I've been giving interviews&mdash;<a href="http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2012/03/01/seanan-mcguire-the-terribleminds-interview/">one with Chuck Wendig, at Terrible Minds, wherein I say "fuck" a lot</a>, and <a href="http://www.mybookishways.com/2012/03/interview-giveaway-seanan-mcguire-author-of-discount-armageddon.html">one at My Bookish Ways, wherein I say "fuck" substantially less</a>. (The My Bookish Ways interview is in conjunction with a giveaway, open to international entries. Just saying.) I've been distributing ARCs and author copies. I've been hyperventilating.<br /><br />Okay, I've actually been hyperventilating a lot. Because starting a new series is scary, and introducing the world to a whole new cast of characters is scary, and a whole lot of things involved with this book are scary, and I am generally just a frozen ball of fear.<br /><br />But the book is out now. In both physical and electronic editions, and you can order it at will. I'm going to swing by Borderlands and sign pre-ordered copies after I get off work, and then I'm going to go to Kate's and eat Indian and maybe demand a trip to Toys R Us.<br /><br />The book is out now.<br /><br />HAIL!
