Honestly, this sells me more than the cover. Very nice promo work. I enjoyed the comic. I enjoyed getting to know the story from the author's POV. I loved seeing the character pop in. This is a fresh take to me. It sounds like it is an original take that fits an original story style. Great job all around.
Well, in that case, yay, and my aching hands are vindicated. (Seriously. SO MUCH INKING.)

Someday I will learn to use a ruler.

Want. Book. Nooooowwwwwwwwww. *cries for lack of instant gratification*

*also praises your aching hands!*
Believe me, also want book now. Want to see book in actual existence. But soon! Sooner every day...
You got a comparison to Pamela Dean! Cool! (I love her take on Tam Lin.)
I did, I love it too, and I squealed so loud.
Can it be September YET?! PLEASE!
...if it were September, I think I'd explode from the stress. But we're getting there one day at a time, and the awesome is increasing.
<3 <3 <3.

Hi Lilly!
My hands. They have the hurting. The sheer size of this paper is difficult to express without interpretive dance.

Kelley Armstrong made me squeal SO FRICKIN' HARD when she agreed to blurb me, there really are no words. We'd never met before I asked her, so that was even more thrilling.

Alice will be making appearances a) once she's settled, b) once I finish my various cartoon trip reports of trips where she wasn't, and c) once I figure out how to draw a Maine Coon vs. drawing a Siamese.
This is wicked awesome!!
Thank you!
Great format for telling people about your novel. The last panel is total win. It's not fair of you to tease and torment us like this, making us want to have our hands on it NAO when we have to wait until September, which is waaaaaaaaaaay too far off for something that sounds like as awesome a read as this does. I want an ARC, darnitall! ;)
Trust me, I'll pay for my teasing and tormenting when Toby KICKS MY ASS.
Cranky Toby is cranky! You'd think she'd been hanging out with someone more cranky than she is. :)

Your poor hands.
Indeed.
This is way cool!!!
Thank you!
You have the best promo! Thanks for a wonderful Monday present. After signing away a significant chunk of the GNP to get the furnace, I really appreciate it...even if it does mean buying a book further down the line. ;-) Cheers and smiles, Jean Marie
Very welcome! And yes, definitely, buy my book. ;) It wants to be your friiiiiend...
"Rue the Daye"= EPIC WIN.

<3 you. :)
<3 you, too. Also, hee. It made me happy.
*looks at fabulous comic*

*looks at her own pending little ebook with a half-human, half-Sidhe chick who got called a 'changeling' by her Seelie kin*

Gosh, I hope I don't read too much like you. *^_^*;; But I'm definitely looking forward to finding out!
...whoops. I don't think I knew what yours was about before this.

I love it. But because I want everything that can sell books for you to be perfect, I'm going to toss in one tiny lettering quibble. It may just be me, but I had to work to puzzle out the word "noir".
...unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing I can do about that, since the inks are done, and the strip is turned in to my publisher.
*squeaks ALL OVER AGAIN*
*giggle*
so, you want we should make copies and distribute these, yeees?
Go for it!
