Remember that Amazon link we've been waiting for?

So I'm still waking up, still shell-shocked from yesterday, when I get a message from a friend of mine going 'hey, guess what I found?' So I go and look at what he found.

And then, because I'm crying really easily today, I start to cry. Why?

I've been vaguely worried about this. If it isn't, we can probably set up some sort of group order? That is, if I'm right in thinking that one large box to the UK, and then internal postage, is cheaper than multiple import orders?

Alarming thought, isn't it... But yes, I suppose we can probably sort something out, or bribe a bookstore-owner to do so...

I believe that since bookstore owners get a lower cover cost, their VAT is probably also lower. Just a thought.

Amazon.co.uk do have a support email address, I'm going to give it a while to see if they list it (it often takes a few weeks for them to get the databases updated) and then give them a nudge. It would be good if several of us do that, to show interest.

But often it's actually cheaper, although slower, to get books from amazon.com sent over here than it is to get them from amazon.co.uk. Possibly not at the current exchange rate, but who knows how that wil change by September?
