The promised art cards, take two (they're small).

It turns out that marker coloring while watching television is just as mindlessly soothing as inking and penciling. Who knew? (Well, actually, I did, from the last time I decided to play around with my vast collection of markers. Which I expanded by twelve over the past few days, thanks to Prismacolor releasing several new colors over the past year. Damn you, Prismacolor. Damn you.) Anyway, here's the second set of six art cards. Again, clicking the graphic will take you to the larger version.

From top to bottom, left to right, you have my first Upon A Star art card, with Corey in Babylon Archer mode, my first Discount Armageddon/InCryptid series art card (hi, Verity!), my second Toby art card, a random drawing of me with velociraptors, my second InCryptid art card, and my second Velveteen art card. This one's for the ladies -- ACTION DUDE and THE CLAW!

I have several more cards finished, but scanning only in sets of six makes sense and saves time, so I'm going to stick with that for now. The hardest part of this batch was Corey's hair, since my henna Prismacolor decided to start dying in the middle, and I had to color most of her with the broad end. I think some of these may wind up getting sold off to pay my art supply bills. Yeesh.

In other news, it's been a busy day.

Random raptors are always cool.
They improve life, it's true.
Fortunately, the mice don't actually require that much cake, since we only had three bits. Everyone else is having the chicken...
Yeah, being, well, mouse-sized definitely makes an impact on how much they can eat in a single sitting.
I have art cards. Which live in my purse and need to be used.

Also, it is not good for my safety that the local art store has an absolute cornucopia of Copics. WITH the attachments to make them into airbrush. :whimper: I have not bought that latter equipment. Yet. The cheapest attachment version uses canned air and is about $20. And I don't have a specific project. We don't buy art supplies without specific projectses, no, precious. Because if we did, we would not have food money, hmm, yes. And yet this "GUH" makes me switch points of view across movie genres with frightening ease.
My art supply store, also not even remotely safe for me to enter. See also 'I went in for more blanks and walked out with twenty dollars worth of markers.' Stupid art supply store. How I adore it.
Aww, these are so cute. I love seeing them.
Thanks!

Cryptid collector cards... hmmmmmmmm
I have one for the cuckoos that hasn't been scanned yet. Oh, the glaring.
Ooh, I like the Seanan with Velociraptors one! :)
It was inordinately fun to ink, it's true.

I can't see them either, here or on the site.

I adore the velociraptors one!
Heeeee.
Demonstrating why it is essential to pet rose goblins in the right direction. Is the rose goblin thinking 'I photosynthesize!'?

Also, the Babylon Archer is adorable! And extra double + good for dinosaur and socks.
Wouldn't you be?

I'm very proud of the Babylon Archer. It took a lot of nail-biting to convince myself to gray-wash over an otherwise finished picture.
Oh my lord the velociraptors one.

*picks it up and cuddles it*
*giggle*
If you sell them, I want the mice. *____*
If I sell any of them, it'll probably be the random, non-book-related cards, since I'm going to want to use the book-related ones as give-aways for signings and contests and such.

Yes, but Prismacolor markers make me woozy :-P

I find it safer to stick with Prismacolor pencils...
...I initially read this as 'make me worry,' and was very confused.
Rose goblin!

Squeeee!!
Spiky...BY PROFESSION.
