Random iTunes shuffle, how you represent me.

A clip of me speaking during my BayCon 2006 concert (the year I was Toastmistress) just came on my iTunes, which is eternally set to shuffle:

"To say that we're eclectic is a little bit of an over-statement...understatement...it's a statement. I'm wearing three-inch heels and I just ran through the whole hotel in them, so really, I get to make any statement I want."

Sometimes it's good to be a Halloweentown Disney Princess. In other news, word of my publication date is spreading like wildfire, and the response has been incredibly awesome. If book sales are anything near as healthy and enthusiastic as congratulations, I'm going to be writing book nine before I know it!

Glee.

You know, I can hear George W Bush making that sort of statement. Except for the heels. Although the thought of Dubya running through a convention in heels has a certain appeal, in a macabre way...

Unrelated, I just did an Amazon search for you. To my surprise the book isn't on there yet (yes, surprise: they have been known to get books up for pre-order before the author has been told a publication date!). But I'll keep looking...
...I think that may be the first time I've ever been compared to George W. Bush. I'm not sure whether to be appalled or not.

I don't think they usually get first books nine months pre-publication. I'll post as soon as anybody confirms that we're live!
Having done the same search recently out of curiosity, currently it looks like you get Buffy guides.
I've read one of the two. I can't find the other. (The one I've found talks about the issues at the San Jose WorldCon.)
