You get your magic for nothing, and your tricks for free: GIVEAWAY TIME!

We need something good right now, and that means it's time to GIVE STUFF AWAY. Specifically, it's time to give away a couple of ARCs of Magic For Nothing.

You in?

To ease us back into the normal swing of things, today we're going with a random number generator drawing. US-only unless you are able to pay postage. I'm really sorry about that, but having just paid a ridiculous amount in vet bills, I am really not in a position to pay to mail things internationally right now. To enter...

1. Comment on this entry.
2. Specify whether you are US or international and, if international, indicate willingness to pay postage.
3. Name one thing you're hoping to see in an upcoming InCryptid book.

I will draw three winners via random number generator on Monday, February 6th. Game on!

Entries which do not include all three components, and which do not specifically relate to the InCryptid series, are ineligible to win.

I'm a US reader, and I'd like to see an appearance by an Apraxis Wasp or several, though I'm sure the Price family would murder me if they heard me speak my wish aloud.
I'm in the US. The Aeslin mice are always a delight but what I'm *really* hoping for is more Istas because she's basically my hero.
1. This is a comment!
2. I am in the US.
3. How about a gryphon or a phoenix?
1. Yay, books!
2. U.S.A.
3. I'd love discussion of cryptid insects and the ecosystems thereof.
This is my comment, and I live in the US (for better or worse right now)! I want to see more Aeslin mice, as always! They're my favorites!

Yes, I'm here in the US.

What I want you've already told me, quite politely, that you won't be providing, which is more about my favourite person, Fran! But I'd like to know more about Alice and Jonathan, as well as how their daughter ended up married to an incubus. And what it was like growing up in the Zellaby family.

P.S. Please don't stop writing about this world! You've created so much, and there are so many fantastic corners left to explore, even without wondering how the Well-Groomed Priestess first acquired the Aeslin colony and yet didn't smite them.
My shipping address is a US address.

I would absolutely love to see more of the Aeslin mice! All hail the keepers of ceremonies and history!
I am in the US, and I always want to see more onomatopeias.
I'm in the US.

I would enjoy more of the romance between Sarah and Artie. I love the kind cuckoos and their quirks and Artie is just darned loveable with the comics and nurturing of Sarah by IM.

(I don't think I'll ever get enough Aeslin mice, but I'm aware that they have to be used sparingly because of their awesomeness.)
In the US, but willing to pay postage.

I'd love to see more of Antimony building her own friendships and community.
Still in the USA, I would love to know what sparked the Healy split from the Covenant and how it went down.

2. US
3. I'd love to see some more Artie. Specifically him getting out of the house.
Hooray! I'm in the US, and I would love love love to see more Aescelin mice. (I loved their Twitter feed, too.)
Commenting from the very far south of the world and more than happy to pay postage. I too would like to know more about Alice and Thomas' story
In the US, would love to see more Antimony
Hi, I am in the U.S. and very happy for you that Thomas is so much better! I would like to hear more about the Frickens and also more of Sarah and Artie's story.
Yessssss I'm so looking forward to Antimony as the POV!

2. I am US based (more's the pity)
3. Many have already mentioned the mice, so...I'm hoping to see more new cryptids! Maybe even some I've never heard of before. The pseudo-biology is one of the draws of the setting for me.

1. Comment!
2. In the US.
3. Mice! Also, new cryptids, when appropriate to the plot.
These days my book allowance has shrunk down to nothing and I would be THRILLED if I could get the new "Incryptid" for free, even though I never mind supporting authors!

I live in the continental U.S., in California. I'd be happy to reimburse you for postage anyway.

One thing I would love to see upcoming is any scenes having to do with Thomas Price and Alice Healy. The extracurricular stories only tell us how they met, and the other peeks into their lives only tell how they happened to part. I would love to see into the hefty missing middle of that story. I like Alice a lot! And I want to know more about what Thomas was like.

As I leave this comment there are very ominous rumbles outside that are definitely not thunder. Lots of dogs barking too.

Anyway, I am in the US, and the only thing I would love more than a new Incryptid book would be getting to read said book before most of the rest of the world. I am really hoping to learn more about Thomas' fate in upcoming books. I don't know that there actually is more to learn -- it could just be one of those mysteries that's meant to remain a mystery -- but that's what I hope to see.

Another rumble. I better get the flashlight and go take a look around. Don't worry, I'll be right back...
I am in the US.
I would like to see more on the Covenant.
Comment commented, US (I'm willing to pay any postage needed), and I would love to see a story of Verity and Antimony, I would like to see their relationship as sisters, and the Aeslin mice of course. Thank you for taking us along into your imagination!
