You in?
To ease us back into the normal swing of things, today we're going with a random number generator drawing. US-only unless you are able to pay postage. I'm really sorry about that, but having just paid a ridiculous amount in vet bills, I am really not in a position to pay to mail things internationally right now. To enter...
1. Comment on this entry.
2. Specify whether you are US or international and, if international, indicate willingness to pay postage.
3. Name one thing you're hoping to see in an upcoming InCryptid book.
I will draw three winners via random number generator on Monday, February 6th. Game on!
Entries which do not include all three components, and which do not specifically relate to the InCryptid series, are ineligible to win.

I would like to see more of the Aeslin mice

Um...really, I am not good at anticipating what I want to see, but I love whatever is there. I suppose I could say the Aeslin mice, but that's pretty generically true.
Ah! I know what I hope to see in an upcoming book: English words. (Spanish in a pinch.) Because if I just bought it in a language I don't actually read, I am gonna be so sad.

Something completely unexpected, that still somehow makes sense. Fossa that turn invisible. Pika with incredible running speed. Pangolins (or any other ant/termite eater) that can make earth flow like mud/water, the better to reach their dinners.
Surprise me!
(I'd say 'and delight', but I know you are going to do that anyway.)

What I'm most waiting for is for Sarah to show more improvement -- I miss her. Thanks.
(Though I loved the comments about Aeslin Mice and their sociology. The little teases here and there are such fun!)

I'd love to know how the Aeslin mice established the original colony with the Prices (I love the mice)

2. I'm a California Grrl!
3. I'm always going to want to see more of my favorite cryptids, like William, all of the therianthropes, and the mice, but it'd be thrilling (re: terrifying) to run into a hostile Cuckoo.

Probably predictable, but I want to see more of the mice! They are my favorite. I want to see how Antimony (eventually!) deals with her own colony of mice.

2. US based!
3. I would love to see more of the marine cryptids. (ok, I'll take freshwater too I guess...) I know our intrepid heroes have their hands full terrestrially already, and no real reason to head out into the heart of the Pacific, but hey, even some intertidal adventures similar to the Healy's encounter with the fin folk in 'we both go down together' would delight me. Plus, can you imagine the mice encountering their marine counterpart? Something that keeps track of the history of the deep? Maybe remoras - travelling with the great shark gods? or little wrasses - gathering all the gossip from their cleaning stations? HAIL THE TERROR OF THE DEEP

2. I am in the US
3. Since one of Anitmony's specialties has been reported as pit traps, I'm really looking forward to her taunting someone caught in of them with the signature Price wit. =D
