You get your magic for nothing, and your tricks for free: GIVEAWAY TIME!

We need something good right now, and that means it's time to GIVE STUFF AWAY. Specifically, it's time to give away a couple of ARCs of Magic For Nothing.

You in?

To ease us back into the normal swing of things, today we're going with a random number generator drawing. US-only unless you are able to pay postage. I'm really sorry about that, but having just paid a ridiculous amount in vet bills, I am really not in a position to pay to mail things internationally right now. To enter...

1. Comment on this entry.
2. Specify whether you are US or international and, if international, indicate willingness to pay postage.
3. Name one thing you're hoping to see in an upcoming InCryptid book.

I will draw three winners via random number generator on Monday, February 6th. Game on!

Entries which do not include all three components, and which do not specifically relate to the InCryptid series, are ineligible to win.

I'm international and willing to pay shipping. Looking forward to more Annie, especially, and (hopefully!) more roller derby :)
WHOO

1. I'm US! Unfortunate as that currently feels.
2. I'm hoping we get to see Antimony playing ROLLER DERBY and blowing stuff up.
Am in the US.

I cannot get enough of Sarah. So that.

US here, and I actually havent started the InCryptid series yet. I know, I'm a bad fan. Buuuuuut I have heard there are mice? So more mice.
I'm U.S. (Boston, in fact) and I'd love to see more Antimony. Just more. No. Wait. I really want a short story about the infamous hide and seek games when they were kids.
2. US
3. Mice watching roller derby.
Comment!
US!

I don't like to dictate to authors by suggesting things, because I think that's rude. So I'll just say "more of them" and hope that counts. Rock on.

I am in the US!
I want to know more about Alice and Thomas and the people we haven't seen much of yet - the Harringtons and Drew Baker. I also want Sarah to get better :-(
Love this series.
I'm in the US (and willing to chip in postage as needed.)
Hope Thomas continues to heal!!

Maybe something about microbiome Incryptids? (That just popped into my head, no idea how it might work....)

I am in the US.

I am looking forward to reading Antimony's perspective!!!

I really hope we'll get to learn more about the history of the Price- Healys... Especially Thomas & Alice, and where Thomas ended up. Also more Aeslin mice, and possibly more felid cryptids?? Or cryptovirology?

I live in the US
I would like to see more about how Sarah is doing

3: I'd love to see something from the depths, or shores, of Lake Michigan.
Hello! Im in the US! And i don't know.... i feel like it'd be nifty to see like a grooming salon for cryptid pets or even just like a kind of salon/spa for cryptids. Just stores in general for cryptids i feel like theyd be fun to see how they accomodate for all the cryptid types XD
I AM IN OMG.

I am in the US, and I would love to see more worldbuilding. One of my favorite things about InCryptid are all the little side mentions of things that don't necessarily bear on the plot but make the whole world seem so real and I can't WAIT to get that in Magic for Nothing.

2. U.S. (even though us Texans think we're our own country)
3. I don't have any particular thing I want to see in the main series that hasn't been covered already.

I would like to see another crossover with Kelley Armstrong's wolf pack. I would LOVE to see the twins meet the Aeslin mice. I was rather disappointed in the first crossover that this didn't happen.

Also, you can thank Ms. Armstrong for introducing me to you, as it was the news that there would be a crossover that led me to your series.
Rules! I can totally follow rules.

1. Done!
2. I am in the US.
3. New cryptids! Icelandic/norse cryptids could be great--we've seen some awesome American cryptids, and the Australian treatment was pretty great, but Iceland has a rich mythology (and ice and snow which I'm sure the Price family would hate, but hey), and I'd love to see what you did through it thorugh this lens. But alternatively, we've seen at least one South American cryptid (ie, Verity's Chubucabra dance partner), but I'd love to see some more stuff along those lines.

3. How is Sarah doing?

Commenting! I am so excited for this book. I love the glimpses you've given us of Antimony.
I am US but I can still pay shipping.

And I so very badly want a scene with Sarah and Artie in the same place at the same time. They're adorable!!!
1) Comment!
2) Not international, willing to pay postage anyways if that's easier!
3) Oh gosh...I am all about dem reptiles! So I'd be thrilled to see more gorgons and their beautiful snake hair! Also, as an occasional ballroom dancer (though nowhere near Verity's level) and hella serious folk dancer it has been incredibly awesome and reassuring to have a character who REALLY LOVES DANCE and is respected for it.

Basically more of this:

"I see," said Dominic. He paused, and then said "When we met, I thought your dancing was frivolous
...
"But your joy when you dance...it's radiant. The preperation, the work, the thought you put into every element of the presentation...this isn't frivolous. It may not be what I recognize as important, but that doesn't mean it's worthless."
Yay!
US
hmm....I actually love everything about this series. How about more running on the rooftops. Ooh, and more Aeslin mice. And all the creatures! And...:D

Im in NZ but totally willing to pay postage

I would like to see something good happen for the Price Healey family - something more than just winning the day

Hello!

I'm in the US.

I want a POV character to travel through the dimensions with Alice so we can see what they look like from the inside.

1. Shadowrun has made an effort to keep up with the times.
2. I have a U.S. shipping address available.
3. Ooh... More tango. Or ballroom. I'll leave that at 'dancing.'
1. This is a comment.
2. I am US-ian.
3. More Istas. She is... interestingly tragic.
You are awesome! I love this series
