So far this year I was unexpectedly in hospital for a week for what I thought was a minor issue and eventually found out was life threatening when my liver and kidneys were thinking of shutting down. My mother has gone in to surgery twice to attempt to rebuild the spine in her neck which had mostly disintegrated due to osteoporosis, and my father had an unexpected heart attack, which lead to a pacemaker being fitted.
We're all fine now though (thankfully), but I would really love for the RNG to go my way for the start of the new year. (Also, I play World of Warcraft, and the RNG absolutely hates me on there. :) )
