As for how good I've been this year, I'd say I've been good overall, tried to help people out where I could, I'm sure others have been more generous and whatnot, but I haven't been bad (I feel in a coal vs present situation I'd probably get a present, but that's just a gut feeling and to be honest I feel I'm somewhat biased.)
As for why the RNG should pick me, besides my amazing rhyming above, I'm a huge fan would greatly appreciate winning the mystery.
I hope that is enough to favor me.
