On the thirteenth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a MYSTERY!

Welcome to the last of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. Each giveaway has different rules and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, I am avoiding the post office as much as possible until that other winter holiday is over).

The final giveaway is for a mystery prize. Everybody loves a mystery. This is going to be a random number drawing, because honestly, that is all I am managing to keep up with. So...

1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Tell me how good you've been this year, and why the RNG should favor you.
4. That's it.

I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Tuesday, December 20th.

Game on!

Oh, Seanan-Claus, I have been so good this year. I haven't murdered anyone at all, even the ones who really, really deserved it.

I'm not international.

Thank you.
US here. I've been good because as crappy as this year has been (and it has been, both personally and globally), I haven't bitten a single person. Even the ones that have really deserved it.

Hello! I am a U.S. mainland resident who has tried, at least, to be as good as possible. I'm not perfect, but I've had to exercise a great deal of self-restraint this year. The contract job I was in ended about six months before it was supposed to, and I've struggled to find work again ever since. I had a job lined up that went belly-up at the last second, and gone on so many interviews but to no avail. I finally have something else lined up, and even a start date, but for some reason they're having issues with aspects of verification on the background check (while last year's job didn't seem to, which I don't understand), so that naturally has me worried that this job is going to get yanked away from me at the last possible second and I'll be back to more struggle. So in other words, I feel like the odds should favor me because I've had a really hard past six months with a lot of stress, struggle, and spartan living.

I've tried this year to be kinder to people, and practice greater patience with others and myself.

Also, I visited my parents and didn't give in to any urges to murder my father and raze the world, which I think means the RNG should totally reward me for that.

ETA:
Oh, and I'm international and willing to pay postage.
I have been so good that my wife and dogs continue to love me with devotion so pure that it almost intimidates me with how much goodness I have to live up to. The RNG should favor me because my moral test is "What would Superman do", which is how I get through the times when my introversion is tired out, and I don't want to care about anyone else for a while, but I do it anyway.
I am commenting.

I've been really good this year because I've been massively supportive of friends in *really* hard places, and I did it while having some pretty serious mental health issues.

The RNG should favor me because I'm totally uncreative and so can't give it a better reason.
1. This is a comment.
2. I am not international.
3. I have tried to be very good this year. I am not objective enough to judge to what extent I have succeeded. The RNG is random, so it will neither favor nor disfavor me. Perhaps it should favor me if I have been very good, but it won't.
4. Thank you!
5. Happy Hogswatch!
I have been good as chips.

As in, "smiling as a basket of chips."

No, I don't understand it either.
Yay!! <3

1. Yay, a mystery!
2. Not international, so n/a
3. The RNG should favor me because I am promoting your work by using Feed as an example when teaching citations. It happens to be an excellent book for that purpose because there are other books titled Feed and other authors named Grant, and thus readers might have trouble locating it if it were cited improperly. It also happens to be an excellent example because quotes about zombies increase student engagement.
4. That's it.
1. everyone loves a mystery, I go with in the Library, and bludgeoned...
2. I am rather boringly domestic postage
3. I have tried to be good, but have failed in most areas. but I do keep trying. I might get it right eventually
4. of course .
Mysteries can be cool. I've been good but I know that sometimes I can always be better. At least the end of the year has allowed me to do more charity donations and that makes me feel good.
1. Done.
2. I am domestic.
3. Hopefully the RNG is pleased with the restraint I showed by not attempting to awake Cthulhu and unleash his wrath after the election.
4. Squee!
I like mysteries and I'm in the US!

RNG should favor me because in spite of sleep deprivation, horrible bouts of depression, occasionally running out of my ADHD meds because I suck at adulting, and the horror show that is this year's election results, I have managed not to do anything drastic. I don't know if I've been *good,* but I've been okay.

RNG should also go ahead and favor me here because it sure as heck isn't favoring me in World of Warcraft. :P

Thank you again for doing your Hogswatch giveaways! Win or not, it's fun for all and it's super good of you to do it. :) ALL HAIL THE HOGSWATCH PRIESTESS!
I have been sooooo good this year! I spent the better part of three weeks helping to clear out my mother-in-law's basement. The old magazines alone filled the better part of an industrial-size recycling dumpster.

(USA resident.)
depending on who you ask, i've either been very good or not good at all; so in all honesty, i can't say the RNG should favor me above anyone else, but i really wish it would.
3. I've been fairly good this year. The RNG should favor me because I'm graduating in four days with my engineering degree after 3.5 years in college.
I have been very good this year, because I did not punch ANYONE or call anyone nasty names despite some major provocations. The RNG should favor me because I refrained from violence both physical and emotional.

I am in the US!
I'm not international.
I've been very, very good. I've not created an army of mutants bent on making people watch the great british bake off . I also have not poisoned any of my friends in order to watch them turn funny colors. So surely the RNG should love me!
1. Hi!
2. Domestic and can pay for shipping
3. I've been good this year bc I haven't murdered my boss :3

Happy Hogswatch!
US entry, but willing to pay shipping.
Glitched on that whole reading comprehension thing though, and posted without reason - hopefully this doesn't email you repeatedly, if so, sorry for the spamming.
I have been very good, because I have been working entirely too much to have time for trouble making. Been trying to hire 2 more people and not finding any, so I'm trying to make up as much of the slack as I can - this week for instance, I'd put in 33 hours by Tuesday evening. Whee!
Mysteries are great!
I am international and willing to pay.
I've been good i guess, I rescued a bird while I was on a job recently, that's a good deed right? plus I save worms and spiders, and I gave my brother half a grand when he couldn't make rent.
The RNG should favour me, because I am facing a pretty life altering decision and I could use all the luck and courage I can get at the moment
