Welcome to the last of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. Each giveaway has different rules and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, I am avoiding the post office as much as possible until that other winter holiday is over).
The final giveaway is for a mystery prize. Everybody loves a mystery. This is going to be a random number drawing, because honestly, that is all I am managing to keep up with. So...
1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Tell me how good you've been this year, and why the RNG should favor you.
4. That's it.
I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Tuesday, December 20th.
Game on!

I've managed to survive this year with a relatively small amount of harm despite depression attempting otherwise. It's been really hard, but I'm still here.

2) I am in the U.S.
3) I'm trying to decrease world suck, support my friends, and be a decent human being.
4) Woo!

I have been a good human this year. I have written things and grown things and knitted things, and I have promoted good causes and critical thinking, and worked to prevent evil (even in the face of disappointing proof of dismaying prevalence of evil and ignorance). And I understand random number generators (I've even programmed some), so perhaps the RNG will feel that I properly appreciate it.

Uh...I've been writing a lot of history of marginalized populations?. Please RNG pls.

Mystery presents are fun! I think I have been good this year. I have tried to actively do good when I can. My depression is telling me that I wasn't, but my depression is a liar, so. The RNG might favor me because my cat will loooove whatever box, bag, or envelope contains the mystery present. They're her favorite thing.

Florida still doesn't quite count as foreign.
I walked out of a toxic job, I managed to stay good friends with some folks who despite their vote are sane and worth keeping, and I ran a gaming session for the first time in over twenty years. So while I can't claim any great virtue, I think this year would get me some points in the eyes of the Inquisitor from Red Dwarf, if no one else.
Thanks again for your Hogswatch celebration. Small joys are joyous still.

(No, I wouldn't really hurt a poor innocent random number generator!)

Not international.
I have been mostly very good, with a slight sprinkling of cranky.
There is no favorites from RNG. That is illogical, and would simply be NG.

I eagerly await with no fears
And to each one I call
"Happy Hogswatch to all!"
"Have a happy and healthy New Years!"

1) Comment!
2) Not international, still willing to pay postage anyways
3) I have managed to keep my head above water and continue to pay the rent and even do some teaching in the dance form I love, despite spending the last four months without health insurance (bad) or ADHD meds (fucking terrible). So, I've been as good as I can be! However, as a (slightly pedantic) math nerd and (way too fucking honest) girl scout, I cannot in good conscience suggest why the RNG should favour me, because unless I make multiple comments (which would be a jerk move) I have the same chance as anyone.
That being said, I have been really good and only leaving comments on the posts for things I don't already have, and therefore the random forces in the universe should understand that I do my best to minimize being greedy and demanding to one of my favourite authors and give me a break. ;)
4) That's it!

2. not international
3. I've been medium good and the random number generator should favor me because the odds are never in my favor and it's my turn.

I've been good this year: all the animals that depend on me are alive and happy, my partner is alive and happy...
I think I should be favoured because I desperately need something good to happen this year -- there's been way too much shit going down, personally and globally and it would be great if 2016 ended on a happy note.

I live in New Zealand, and am happy to pay postage for a prize.
My 8yo says I've been "8/10" good this year which I guess is better than average, so I'll take it! Especially if it gives me an 80% chance of a favourable random number...
