On the thirteenth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a MYSTERY!

Welcome to the last of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. Each giveaway has different rules and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, I am avoiding the post office as much as possible until that other winter holiday is over).

The final giveaway is for a mystery prize. Everybody loves a mystery. This is going to be a random number drawing, because honestly, that is all I am managing to keep up with. So...

1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Tell me how good you've been this year, and why the RNG should favor you.
4. That's it.

I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Tuesday, December 20th.

Game on!

I have not been good this year. I've been naughty, contributing my skills toward helping two people enter the world of indie and small-press audio publishing. As for the grace of the RNG, I've sown my seeds and sacrificed in blood to appease the gods of software and hardware.
Ooh, a mystery!
And I've been good... good enough to not get caught.
hmm.. have I been good this year? I"m not sure I know the answer to that. What is the nature of goodness? What does that mean?

I mean, I try to be a nice person. To be kind to others. Not to murder stupid ppl - or even punch them in the face (more than try, my rate of either of those things is a whooping 0 in my whole life... unless you count my brother when we were kids... then it's prob in the early teens - facing punching, not killings. He's alive and well and married with kids and we don't punch each other any more)

I feel like this comment got away from me somewhere.

So.. um yes. I guess i've been good?
I love a good mystery!
Please consider me entered. I have tried to be good to myself more. I have gone to therapy, a new doctor, and a psychiatrist to adjust my meds to better help me. Thanks!
Excited about the mystery prize. Let's see, I have survived the Great Year of the Suck, otherwise known as 2016, at least so far. I've lost my sister-in-law to cancer, my best friend to indifference (on her part) and a move while not emotionally crippling any of my three kids. I think. All I can say is I'm trying.
I've been good this year and the RNG should favor because I'm wearing a Jedi robe
1: A comment (I'm sooo hilarious)
2: Currently based in the continental US
3: I've actually been mildly terrible overall, but really good in certain aspects of life like work. The RNG should favour me because if I win, when I complete my cross stitch of all of the first gen Pokemon, I will dedicate it to Seanan (but not send it to her because she has mentioned that her art collection outstrips her wall collection).
4: Miaow
I have tried to allocate my somewhat limited spoons to do good in my communities? (Recently that has involved sharing a lot of cat pictures. And puns. And a lot of emotional labor for friends.)
I live in the US and I've been good enough that I haven't be caught. :)
I've been decently good this year, at the very least I've tried to live by the idea of putting more good into the world than bad. But RNG is a capricious mistress and I'm sure she'll choose as she sees fit. :)
For most of this year, I tried to be good, but now I'm determined to be a nasty woman. That's as good a reason as any for the RNG to choose me, right?

Thanks for doing this.
Mystery is good!

I think the best thing I can say for being "good" is that I've kept a positive attitude, continued to help others, and done the best I can to keep myself healthy in a year filled with heartbreak and stress.
1. I've got the doom doom doom, down in my heart.
2. I have a U.S. shipping address available.
3. I'm reasonably confident my net healing vs. harm is in the positive.
4. What, is your favourite colour?

OH I HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD THIS YEAR. I have worked very hard and my shit is decidedly more together than it was at this time last year! I've learned programming and gotten my web engineering gig, moved in with friends, and gotten a tattoo. I taught myself to draw. I've done what work I can to make the world a better place, though I'd say this year that's a major work in progress.

And I love mysteries. May the RNG gods be kind!

Thank you for doing this. It's been fun!
Hi RNG,
I've been a good girl this year because I've used lots of your fellow RNGs to make my passwords. If that's not good enough then I've been recommending Seanan as being a fantastic author to all of my friends.
I'm international and willing to pay postage.
Pick me!
I have not been all that good because it's been a very hard year, but I've tried. The RNG should favor me because I've done my best.
I'm commenting, in the US. Our Lord, The Flying RNG Monster, should favor me because I took in a fourth cat this year, and now I have even less space on my bed at night.
(I keep getting an error message, hopefully this hasn't posted 5 times.)
1. Success
2. Domestic
3. Umm, well, I certainly haven't been BAD. And I work in customer service, so I have to spend my days being all polite and stuff, so I think that definitely deserves something special, eh? Eh? Plus I bought a copy of Discount Armageddon for everyone in my book group, which they all thought was pretty nice (I mean, if you don't consider the evilness of buying them book one when I just know they're going to get hooked and have to buy all the rest of them themselves muaahaha uuhh, woops, nope, no, I'm nice, I swear!)
4. Yay!

Yay mysteries! I've been doing my best to be the most excellent snakemom for my new snakebaby so I hope I've been good. And snakes are in snakes and ladders, which has random number generation via dice, so I hope I get some RNG favour via several-times-removed familial loyalty. I'm international and happy to pay.
I love mysteries. :)
I survived the year, made hard choices, helped take care of a baby, and again, survived. Which is about as successfully good as I can manage right now.
I had a rough year with crisis after crisis and I didn't yell at anyone.
I do love mysteries, but I can't come up with a good enough reason to make the random number generator choose me as the recipient of one of your books. They are undeserving of such a unworthy soul. But you are generous enough to give your works of art to us plebeians anyways. So ... I guess the only reason the RNG should favor me is because I try to be as kind as I can to those around me. Sometimes I fail, and sometimes I succeed, but I try no matter what.
Mysteries are awesome!

I have been good and been working on calming down my slightly shouty (but loving) relationship with my mother for the sake of my beloved fiancee who is living with us now.

International happy to manage postage issues!
I've been as good as I can possibly be, considering this year was one of the worst ones of my life. That's not exactly an answer, but it's the best one I have right now. :)

Thank you for hosting this giveaway! It's been fun.
