As for my favourite fairy tale? Probably whichever one Ursula Vernon has retold that I've read most recently. My favourite book fairy tales would be Faerie Tale by Raymond E Feist, or Songs of Earth and Power by Greg Bear. In terms of classical fairy tales, I would have to say The Sorcerer's Apprentice due to it's inclusion in Fantasia, and Three Billy Goats Gruff, because those goats are awesome. :)
