On the sixth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a signed copy of Indexing! Win this awesome tome for yourself, for a friend, or for a local library!

Welcome to the sixth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. I will be starting a new giveaway every day between now and December 13th. Each giveaway will have different rules and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, I am avoiding the post office as much as possible until that other winter holiday is over).

The sixth giveaway is for a signed copy of Indexing. This is going to be a random number drawing, because as you may have noticed, I am running a bit behind. So...

1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Name your favorite fairy tale.
4. That's it.

I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Tuesday, December 13th.

Game on!

ETA: This drawing is now CLOSED.

Mother Holle, for the time my sister helped the German IV students with their translation.

In the US. I'm a big fan of The Twelve Dancing Princesses.

Thank you for another generous giveaway.

Cinderella! And not that sanitized Disney garbage. The gory bloody variations where people are pecked by birds and the stepsisters mutilate their feet. (I have problems).
In US. Havent read this one yet. 😀
1. Yay! Commenting.
2. Not international.
3. The Ugly Duckling
4. Thank you!

4. Whee
I'm commenting. I love love love Tam Lin and have "pink curtains" as a friend phrase.
My favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast. I will read almost any kind of version of it.

Oooo, so excited to finally finish this book—the installments were driving me batty, so I put it aside and haven't picked it back up yet. My favorite fairy tale is (fittingly) Snow White and Rose Red
Not international!

My favorite fairy tale is hard, but I'm going to go with The Six Swans, because it's one of the first ones I knew, and I love it.
My favorite fairy tale is Tam Lin, if that counts, but if it doesn't, then The Little Mermaid would have to be my pick.
Not commenting to win, again offering to pay international postage if the winner is unable.
Hopefully Neil Gaiman's "Snow, Glass, Apples" counts as a fairy tale, 'cause that's my answer for "favorite".
Hi! Yes! And my favorite faery tale is Alice in Wonderland if that counts as a faery tale. If not, Beauty and the Beast is the other one I love :)

The Juniper Tree- It has everything. Murder! Evil stepmother! Cannibalism! Improbable physics! Revenge! :)
My favorite fairy tale: I'm a sucker for Cinderella. Thanks for running these!
I love Indexing and Reflections and I hope there are more to come! I think my favorite fairy tale (it's hard to choose) is East of the Sun, West of the Moon

Commenting!
Canadian, willing to pay postage.

Favourite fairy/folk tale(s) depends on my mood, but today I'm going to have to go with Miriam's Tambourine.
Or possibly the Golem of Prague.

A rare instance of a book I've read but don't actually own yet! Perhaps the RNG will be kind....

Still in Oregon, where "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is both a song and a true statement right now.

Favorite fairy tale? Let's go with "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp", for the djinni (both in the classic prose version and the Disney movie).
"Wild Swans" by Andersen. And I had to look up what it was called too...

US based and more than willing to pay my own postage.

Favorite fairy tale is probably The Little Mermaid.
I'm in the U.S.

My favorite fairy tale is "The Ugly Duckling", because of its message - which is not "Your body will be pretty later" but "Wait, and keep looking, and someday you will find your tribe."
Comment my favorite fairytale is Vasilisa the beautiful I love Baba Yaga
It's so hard to choose a favorite fairy tale...if I had to choose one, I'd choose The Little Mermaid, for the Sea Witch. And yay Indexing!!
Commenting: You make Hogswatch wonderful!

Favorite tale = Snow White & Rose Red
