Welcome to the sixth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. I will be starting a new giveaway every day between now and December 13th. Each giveaway will have different rules and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, I am avoiding the post office as much as possible until that other winter holiday is over).

The sixth giveaway is for a signed copy of Indexing. This is going to be a random number drawing, because as you may have noticed, I am running a bit behind. So...

Cinderella! And not that sanitized Disney garbage. The gory bloody variations where people are pecked by birds and the stepsisters mutilate their feet. (I have problems).

Oooo, so excited to finally finish this book—the installments were driving me batty, so I put it aside and haven't picked it back up yet. My favorite fairy tale is (fittingly) Snow White and Rose Red

A rare instance of a book I've read but don't actually own yet! Perhaps the RNG will be kind....

Still in Oregon, where "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is both a song and a true statement right now.

Favorite fairy tale? Let's go with "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp", for the djinni (both in the classic prose version and the Disney movie).

My favorite fairy tale is "The Ugly Duckling", because of its message - which is not "Your body will be pretty later" but "Wait, and keep looking, and someday you will find your tribe."
