When you break faith with me, you break my heart.

I am delighted to announce that Once Broken Faith debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List in position #15, which means we made the extended list and clung to the print edition with our fingernails. Which is, quite honestly, cool by me. (Yeah, I'd like to make the top ten, but I'll take what I can get.)

We're comfortably into act two at this point, and I was nervous about this book, as I am nervous about all of them: at this point, I'm knocking down things I spent ten books putting up, and that's a delicate, anxiety-raising process. But it's working, and I am so happy. Thank you all so much for being here, for trusting me, and for letting you show you how this story goes.

I know I've said this before, but: it has been an honor and a privilege to bring you all with me this far into October's world. I sincerely hope that you will stay with me for as long as it takes to see where the road leads us from here.

Thank you all, so very much.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

And we are extremely happy that we have this world of yours to share. I know that I will not be leaving the path anytime soon and to leave a story early before the end has come is dangerous, indeed.

p.s. mid-way through the book I started musing on the concept of Quentin forming a team of teen super heroes and then realised he was missing someone super strong...and then

spoilers:


Toby winds up promising safety for a super strong teenager,

I know that is probably not the direction you're heading but it made me smile.

Thank you so very much! For sharing with us this place you have made in your mind and for sharing your spirit. I was thrilled to eat a whole mess of crab with you in KC and to hear your stories spanning so many topics. I am more than happy to follow this road with you in the lead and enjoy the scenery along the way.

I *adored* this book. It is so fucking exciting to watch this narrative play out -- it's clear to me as a reader that you know what you are doing and where this is all going, and I am utterly content to place myself in your hands and go wherever it is you intend to take us, because these books make me SO HAPPY. Thank you for writing them. Thank you for bringing us into this world. This universe is an absolute joy to me, and if I started naming characters I love, I would never stop.

Congratulations! I am so grateful for the day I stumbled upon Rosemary and Rue; it not only opened my eyes to this wonderful series, but to all the awesomeness that is you. I'm here for the long haul, and I can't wait to see what happens next either.

I adore this series so much. It's one of the few things my mom and I are both equally fond of and can discuss at length, which is awesome. Thank you for sharing Toby's world with us, and here's to many more books with her!

Thank you for bringing us along on Toby's journey with you. I've been with it since the very first book, and I've been so caught up in her story and that of those around her. I can honestly say the new release every year is something I eagerly anticipate and have to get my hands on as soon as it comes out. :) Yay for making the bestseller list! Now we just have to keep you rising on that. Clearly I need to convert more readers. **nod** Got a couple, but must bring in more! Introduce them to the delights. :)
