It's time to hit the floor for one more dance.

It's time for a Chaos Choreography giveaway! Hooray! This giveaway is going to be US addresses only; I'm still mailing Hogswatch prizes and other such items, and my post office workers are starting to mysteriously go on break when I show up, because of all the international packages. I know it's not fair, but I can't add more customs forms to the pile or they're going to close completely.

I will do open-to-international giveaways before the book is released, and I'm hoping to clear out more of the pending packages in the next week or so.

So, the rules for this one:

1. Leave a comment.
2. Indicate that you have a US address I can ship to. (You don't have to live in the US. You just have to have a US address.)
3. Name your favorite cryptid and why.

I will use the RNG to choose three winners on Tuesday, January 26th. But there's a twist! Only one person can win for each cryptid. So be honest! Name your favorite! Just be aware that the odds are lower for the Aeslin mice than for, say, the swamp bromeliads.

The field guide is here, if you need some help.

Game on!

Apraxis wasps, because they are terrifying, and I do, in fact, live in the US.
I won last time so won't begrudge a prize to someone else But I love, love this series! And I live in the U.S. and the Aeslin mice are my favorites. Can't help it--they're inspired! Happy belated birthday!
Hello! I do, fortunately, have a US address :)

As a primate person, I have to put in a good word for the Ahool, which sounds absolutely TERRIFYING, even while I am delighted by the idea of a flying bat-monkey with a Komodo Dragon bite. Also I just really like the word "Ahool".

Commenting that I do indeed have a US address.

Cuckoos all the way. Which probably means I want to die horribly but what can you do?
I do have a U.S. address. It being in Texas, my choice of cryptid may not be that surprising.

My favorite cryptid is a jackalope, at least since I drew one for an alphabet "legends" fabric over on Spoonflower a while back.
Comment: I love your book give-a-ways and ALL of your books in a 'SHINY! Must Have' sort of way;

I live in the US [Campbell, Calif];

And my favorite species of cryptid are the cuckoos
1. Yay! Commentary: the Not-exactly-a-Musical-but-I-can-try-to-write-lyrics!
2. I live in Illinois, which is terribly, terribly U.S.
3. Like everyone else, my favourite cryptid are the Aeslin Mice. I would rather have a splinter colony than a Companion. In fact, I'd rather have the mice
than most talking beasties from fiction, except a Pernese dragon. (It would be a close decision. however, since the mice could help me remember things,
and I suffer from brain fog in a most unpleasant fashion.)
US address here, hey hey!

OK, so I have a bunch of favorites, but I gotta go with screaming yams, because they sound yummy. Can you eat screaming yams? Make them for a Thanksgiving dinner? Do they taste different than the non-screaming variety?
Bay Stater here!

The first response that came to mind was the waheela. After reading your short stories centered around Istas, I can't get the north wind out of my head. I really relate to how literal Istas is, and her lack of filter.
Yep, still US-based here.
The Madhura remain my favorite cryptid, because delicious baked goods are always a way to my heart. I really want a Madhura-run bakery to set up shop here in Davis.
I'm not sure I actually have a favorite but my first impulse was

Wasps because they like ketchup. Ketchup! Oh, and they like math.

I have a US address.
I'd love to get a hold of Chaos Choreography
I live in the US...
Frickens, What's not to love... They are an early warning system, letting you know of danger... They're reptiles and the can fly or at least glide...
US address. Current favorite is the Mishigamaa, because after three years spent living there, I am delighted by the idea of a Michigan plesiosaur.
I love your work. I have a US address, and the Waheela's are probably my favorite if only becuase of the lolita goth girl.

1) I wish I had a pony
2) I live and receive mail in the US of A
3) Dragon Princesses- I like gold too
You are so generous with your giveaways!

I have a sweet spot for the Madhura, if only because when I was supplementing with fenugreek, I smelled like curried maple syrup, so that's the closest I've come to being a cryptid. :)

I indeed have a US address.
1. Commenting.
2. I have a US address.
3. I don't care how much it lowers my odds of winning, I love the Aeslin mice. They're both hilarious and incredibly helpful.
US address & waheela, partially because of Istas and partially because I just really resonate with the fact that they don't tend to be around "their own kind" because of territoriality much in the way I handle my own family :-)
Yay! Chaos Choreography! I'm so excited!

I do have a US address.

My favorite cryptid... I'm going to go with the fricken. They're so absurd and our introduction to them in InCryptid was excellent. It's hard to choose, and I keep changing my mind, but I'm going with that one.
Can't wait to read Chaos Choreography!

I'm in the US.

My favorite cryptid changes with my mood (and what I've read most recently). Today I'm going with the Yowie, because while reading Pocket Apocalypse I was jealous of Shelby and her siblings getting to play with Basil when they were little kids.
