I will do open-to-international giveaways before the book is released, and I'm hoping to clear out more of the pending packages in the next week or so.
So, the rules for this one:
1. Leave a comment.
2. Indicate that you have a US address I can ship to. (You don't have to live in the US. You just have to have a US address.)
3. Name your favorite cryptid and why.
I will use the RNG to choose three winners on Tuesday, January 26th. But there's a twist! Only one person can win for each cryptid. So be honest! Name your favorite! Just be aware that the odds are lower for the Aeslin mice than for, say, the swamp bromeliads.
The field guide is here, if you need some help.
Game on!

Favorite: Fricken -- just like the name

My favorite cryptid is the Church Griffin!
Because what's better than the combined intelligence/chaos of a cat/raven hybrid? Many things, probably, if you want your house intact, but still. They're so damn cute!

My favorite cryptids are the tanuki. They have pleasant personalities and an adorable raccoon dog form but are still capable of protecting themselves in "combat-ready shape."

I actually really like the bogeymen.

2. Still in Oregon, where there is a now-rather-sad-looking snowman in the front yard of the complex.
3. The screaming yam, because I suspect it tastes just as good with marshmallows baked on top as the other kind.

2 US address (Oregon)
3 I just took a commission to paint a Jackalope on some pottery, so yeah, that. Cool, huh?

2. Yes!
3. I'm intrigued by the North American Questing Beast, because I like cougars, and quests, and would love to know how it got its name. (I'd also like to know more about Fern from "Blocked" but I don't know what species she is.)

I live in the US and hope the RNG shows me favor this time... Also wishing you a happy birthday, may it be filled with no stress and lots of joy

My favorite is the fricken because frogs with feathers are cool.

US address indeed!
Favorite: I know this makes my chances of winnning likely reduce, but it's all about the Aeslin mice. Hail! I desperately want my own colony of Aeslin mice... although I'm not sure how my cats would get along with them.

My favorite Cryptid right now are the Aeslin Mice, they are hilarious and so very original!

(I just know I'm going to end up wishing I'd lied and claimed swamp bromeliads...) My favorite cryptid is the madhura, mostly because Piyusha was just plain nice, but also because how can you dislike anyone smelling of honey and gingerbread? Plus, retarding food spoilage throughout the neighborhood just entirely fails to suck!

2. I do indeed have a US postal address.
3. Honestly, I really liked the madhura characters from Discount Armageddon. Yes, I love Aeslin mice too - everyone loves the mice - but Gingerbread Pudding, the brothers, and their sister really stuck with me, as did the description of their apartment. I'd love to see one or more madhura turn up in another book and learn more about their species.
Mmmm, gingerbread...
