It's time to hit the floor for one more dance.

It's time for a Chaos Choreography giveaway! Hooray! This giveaway is going to be US addresses only; I'm still mailing Hogswatch prizes and other such items, and my post office workers are starting to mysteriously go on break when I show up, because of all the international packages. I know it's not fair, but I can't add more customs forms to the pile or they're going to close completely.

I will do open-to-international giveaways before the book is released, and I'm hoping to clear out more of the pending packages in the next week or so.

So, the rules for this one:

1. Leave a comment.
2. Indicate that you have a US address I can ship to. (You don't have to live in the US. You just have to have a US address.)
3. Name your favorite cryptid and why.

I will use the RNG to choose three winners on Tuesday, January 26th. But there's a twist! Only one person can win for each cryptid. So be honest! Name your favorite! Just be aware that the odds are lower for the Aeslin mice than for, say, the swamp bromeliads.

The field guide is here, if you need some help.

Game on!

I have a US address! And my favorite cryptid would be church griffins, because kitty. (To elaborate, roughly cat-sized griffins are basically my ideal pet, so I am very sad they don't actually exist. Bird kitties are made of joy. In much the same way actual cats are made of joy, IE probably going to give everyone around them stress headaches, almost certainly fluffy little jerks, but they're cute and hilarious in the process, so... joy. And I love cats and corvids, and Crow was my favorite part of Half-Off Ragnarok, and... I'm babbling. Sorry.)
I have to say I'm fond of the finfolk for story-telling potential and doing the best they can with the biology they got.

I have an address in the USA.
Of course US address, would be silly to enter a US-only drawing otherwise.
Chupacabra - because they are excellent dancers, and also, how can "what happens when a Gila monster and a coyote love each other very very much" not be a favorite? :D
US address!

I really love the poison dart frickens, like a cross between colorful finches and tiny poison dart frogs, feathery bits of bright, cheerful doom.
US Address

May favorite Cryptid keeps changing, but today it is the Aeslin Mice. This is because they don't forget ANYTHING, and I kinda actually want a colony to keep track of THINGS for me. Because I forget EVERYTHING.
US address!

Cactus Cats. Because I love the combination of soft looking kitties with sharp spikey bits everywhere. Talk about combining hard and soft.
We have turtles, lots of turtles, so I kinda have to go with the Angler Tortoise. Convergent evolution with the alligator snapper, it seems....

US address. Thanks!

2. I am in the US
3. I can’t help it but my favorite remain the Aeslin mice! They are so cute and they talk and they have such an awesome religious life and I love how they keep the history of the family. They are just so awesome and real!
why yes, please consider me for Chaos...

and I love the mice, I will scoff at the high odds, because my cat told me to pick the mice, he seems to think you will send us some.

I'm so excited. I just got into "InCryptid" and I'm hooked. I'm going to have to go with the Madhura, because what's not to love about people that naturally smell like gingerbread!

U.S. address here.
1. This is a comment!
2. I live in the USA and have a shippable address therein.
3. Definitely leaning towards the Madhura as my favorite cryptids right now, but it's always a close call. Why? Because it is the season of sweetness and baked goods, that's why! (And I just really like the Madhura characters in the InCryptid books I've managed to read so far.)
US address.

Ooh, I was going to say cactus cats, because all cats should be pointy-er. (Ouch!) But I'm going to have to weigh in with the Madhura, because I love BPAL's gingerbread perfume to an entirely inappropriate degree and I think people who smell like gingerbread *all by themselves* would be awesome.
US address.

Wow, picking a favorite cryptic is so difficult. I think I'm going to go with the wadjet, because their mating bonds are really interesting because they form when they're still young.
1. Look no further!
2. Yup, living in the US.
2. The Cuckoos are my favorite, because they are the scariest and frankly have the most entertaining description in the field guide.

I'm local to GaFilk, so US. "Name your favorite cryptid and why," that would be Istas, and by extension the Waheela. Because as badass and naturally solitary as she is, she makes an effort at "social". So she is the exception that tests the "rule" that some species should be wiped out when they are too dangerous.
Oh, fun! US addess, still.

Favorite is *really hard*, but I think my favorite of the moment has got to be the sirrush, since I'm really concerned about conservation efforts, especially in light of the unstable political situations in much of their natural habitat. (A member of my department, who happens to live across the street works with native equines in an overlapping region, and, well, good times - also, she has the *best* videos taken on a phone cam from the vantage point of an SUV being attacked by the highly territorial male equines. But I digress.) The sirrush just seems to have gotten the shaft in every religion conflict for the past how many thousands of years? I mean, they're tough, but, seriously.
1. I love that you do all these giveaways. You're so sweet!
2. In the US
3. Dragon princesses are my favorite because they're bigger, fuller girls that are beautiful. I love seeing my body type represented and seen as beautiful. It very rarely happens
I have a US Address. I think I'm going to go with the jink, because I'm fairly certain I pissed one off today. It has been a supremely unlucky morning.
Virginia, USA ... and I love the Aeslin Mice!!! I love that they keep such a detailed and documented history of the family with titles and celebrations and their elaborate descriptions of almost mundane events. Their cheers for "Cheese and Cake!" always make me smile and your descriptions of them - how they look, their body language, when they prepare to speak, their activities - bring them vividly to mind, especially when making deals with the family. <3
I live in Hershey, PA (yes, THAT Hershey!).

My favorite cryptid...that's a tough one as there are a lot of cool ones. But I'd have to say the Waheela because they're such an interesting concept that I wish were explored a bit more in the core books. Also, I want a lesser griffin!
1. Leave a comment.
2. US Address
3. I'm going to go with the Frickens
a. The name is just awesome
b. The idea of frogs with wings makes me giggle
Woohoo! I'm so glad you're doing another one! I live in Michigan, so US Address all taken care of! And I think my favorite cryptid would have to be the Dragon Princesses. I just love all of the weird aspects of their biology, especially the reason behind why they hoard gold.
I do have a US address and a amused preference for the chupacabra.
Totally USA-Ian!

I think I'll have to say the firken, just cause I love the idea that they're close to becoming non-cryptids in the series's universe, and I think that's cool
I have a US address! I say the yowie. It's not easy being green and they need some love. Also quite handy with that tough skin.
