On the tenth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a copy of Pretty Little Dead Girl.

Welcome to the tenth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. I will be starting a new giveaway every day between now and December 13th. Each giveaway will have different rules, and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, avoiding the post office until that other winter holiday is over).

The tenth giveaway is for a copy of Pretty Little Dead Girl, my out-of-print first album. This is going to be a random number drawing, because I am going to see Cavalia tonight. So...

1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Tell me why you want this album.
4. That's it.

I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Thursday, December 17th.

Game on!

1. Judi Miller is awesome.
2. I have a U.S. shipping address available.
3. I enjoy sharing your work with other people. And I like winning stuff.
4. Not another shrubbery.
Oh gosh!

I have never heard this album, and I lovelove my copy of Red Roses and Dead Things, so I am pretty sure I will lovelove this, too! I'm too old and understanding of the world to be able to rip the whole thing from a friend, so if I want it, this seems to be the only way to get it.

Also because you are absolutely delightful and I am entering all the contests for things I don't have yet in the hopes that next year I have to enter in much fewer of them. ;)

(not international, still willing to pay postage)

I would like this to give to a very dear friend who I think would enjoy it immensely. You'll meet them at ConQuesT. Thank you for the 13 Days of Hogswatch.
I hope you enjoyed Cavalia!

I am in the U.S and would be willing to pay postage.

I have recently discovered your music and would love the opportunity to see what I am missing!
I want this album because I enjoy your music but do not have this album.
I live in the US and can pay postage. I want this album because it's my one chance to get it unless you re release it and I love your music so much. It's helped me through a lot of depressive episodes and I'd love to be able to hear this music as well.
This is the album that made me fall in love with your music. I do still have my copy, so I feel just a little bit greedy raising my hand for a second copy, but if I had a second one I could feel like I could carry one in my car instead of saying "this is rare and precious and I can never get another one, so I'd better keep it safe at home".

I'm in Germany and willing to pay postage.

I want this album because it's out of print so this may be the only way to get it.

Commenting is - it's lovely to see this after a day spent wandering around crowds and finishing holiday shopping

And I want the album because I have 2 of your other CDs [Red, Red Roses & Dead Things; Wicked Girls] and I love the songs, the way you sing and the other folk you have singing. I tend to only buy music in CD form [which is becoming harder to do] - and would buy your other CDs [and re-buy 'Red Roses', because I have played it almost to death] if they didn't keep selling out.

To complete the collection, naturally.

In the USA, here.
I'd love to win the album because I enjoy your music!
I'd like this album because I am insufficiently familiar with your music, have enjoyed what I've heard, and been kind of poking at the idea of getting back into filk again, at least in a minor way. (Domestic.)
I think you have cool music.
1. This is a comment
2. I am not international
3. Because I would love to be able to give a copy to a friend of mine who is sad and lonely in Germany.
4. Okay.
I'm commenting.
I'm in the US.
I want to win this because I've never heard any of your music. Where better to start then your first album?
I will like to hear your lovely voice. I'm in the U.S.
I'd love to win this album because I do not as of yet own any of your CDs, and as it is out of print this one would be hard to find.
I do plan to buy some of them after Christmas though <3.
I am international and willing to pay postage.

I want this album because I want to hear you singing I Am - I know Vixy & Tony's cover. (The clips of the ones I haven't heard before mean they are also things I want to hear :))

Christmas last year was when I first went "Hey, I know Seanan writes songs, maybe I should see if any are on YouTube" and found your Wicked Girls performances, and that song means a lot to me. So I bought your available albums as soon as I could and they have been in my playlist for most of the year.

Because I don't have it and it's by you. <= reason
I want this album because I love your music (I've been able to get 2 albums so far) and out of print means I likely won't get another chance at this one.
1. Commenting to enter!
2. I am not International!
3. Because you have a lovely voice and I would like to hear more of it!
4. Yay!
I want it because I love your writing but have heard very little of your music. I expect that I would enjoy your music, and would like to change bit where I've heard so little of it.

"Dance then, where ever you may be, for I am the lord of the Dance said he"

I did not really know that you made music also, even though I had seen the MUSIC 'tab' on seananmcguire.com/ this is actually the first time I've listened to any of the samples/songs. I quite enjoyed them, and will be buying some of your other albums soon. I love the vocal interactions between you and Vixy & Tony on Sycamore Tree. »cues up their album Thirteen to hear you some more«

And hope you enjoyed Cavalia! I got to see them about 3.5 years ago, shortly after I had moved here to St. Louis, and thought they were amazing!!

I want this album because it is the only one of your albums I don't have and I want it like BURNING.

The only cds in my Rav are yours.

I hate my local radio stations.

Also, in Oregon.
I want this album because I love your music and am incredibly bummed that I discovered you and your work too late to be able to own all the albums you've ever put out.
