Welcome to the fifth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. I will be starting a new giveaway every day between now and December 13th. Each giveaway will have different rules, and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, avoiding the post office until that other winter holiday is over).

The fifth giveaway is for copies of The Winter Long and A Red-Rose Chain (October Daye #8 and #9, respectively). Because these are later books in the series, I ask that you please not enter if you haven't read the earlier books; I would feel terrible for spoiling you. This is going to be a random number drawing, because I'm about to leave for my Borderlands event. So...

Yay for Hogswatch and potential Toby swag!

There are so many great characters in this series, but I have to go with the one I first fell in love with, October. Her struggle to walk the line between her two worlds resonates deeply with me, and of course she is the most human of the cast.

Entering from Canada, happy to pay postage! And if I have to choose a character it's the Luidaeg, but OH what a choice. Cranky queer ladies, though, always top of my lists. :)

USian, and (at least for now) my favorite character is Tybalt. Oh, to be romanced in high medieval style by a handsome Cait Sidhe who looks fabulous in leather pants!

Happy Hogswatch!

My favorite character is probably the Luidaeg, but it may wind up being someone we haven't met yet. Time will tell.

It's hard to choose, I like the Luidaeg and would like a few happy things for her. But I also empathize with Toby, who has a family and circle of friends and will kick all the asses for them. (And for people in general, but there's so many people and only one Toby, and Faerie is deeply fucked up.)

Tybalt, I think. Or maybe May. That's avoiding choosing Toby herself as being the obvious one...
I am happy (would be ecstatic, even) to pay postage to New Zealand.

my favorite toby character is Toby of course, second is the love of her life the king of the cat Sidhe, tybalt. But I do have a fondness for Raj and Quentin.
