On the fourth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a copy of Indexing!

Welcome to the fourth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch. I will be starting a new giveaway every day between now and December 13th. Each giveaway will have different rules, and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on December 30th, because I am bad at going to the post office (and also, avoiding the post office until that other winter holiday is over).

The third giveaway is for a copy of Indexing (the first one). This is going to be a random number drawing, because I just got home from the East Coast two days ago, and I'm still tired. So...

1. To enter, comment on this post.
2. If you are international, indicate both this and your willingness to pay postage.
3. Name your fairy tale.
4. That's it.

I will choose the winner at 1PM PST on Friday, December 11th.

Game on!

ETA: This drawing is now CLOSED.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses, not because I loved it in its original form, but because I LOVED Genevieve Valentine's retelling of it set in the jazz age of speakeasies and dance clubs, "The Girls at the Kingfisher Club." :>
My toddler is OBSESSED with Sleeping Beauty. I've always had a fondness for Cinderella myself.
I'm in the US.

Beauty and the Beast! I've read Robin McKinley's Beauty many many times.
Thumbelina :)

(Virginia, USA!)
My fairy tale... they're all pretty worrisome, I'm not sure I want to lay claim to any! That said, let's go for Little Red Riding Hood.
Hi!

My favorite fairy tale is Cinderella
OMG! Peter and Wendy.
I am US resident, and I think Rapunzel, although not particularly the disney version, is my favorite fairy tale of the moment.
Beauty and the Beast, in pretty much all versions. I'm in the UK and happy to pay postage.
I love fairy tales, and I love Indexing!
I am not international.
Probably The Wild Swans
My fairy tale is Red Riding Hood. (In the US.)
I think my favorite retelling is Bryony and Roses by Ursula Vernon.
USAian
My favorite fairy tale is The Gold Spinner. Thanks for the giveaway.

US Resident.
Probably "The Golden Goose"
This is a comment from relatively local US.

Favorite fairy tale is... East of the Sun, West of the Moon is what immediately comes to mind.
I think I'd go with Cat Valente's Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland, but if that's not an option then definitely Snow White. I love the variety of Snow White retellings out there.
Yay!

I'm local.

I have to choose Beauty and the Beast. I don't have a good reason. But there we are.
The NacMac Feegles or Rose Red. In the US but will pay shipping. -bridge
Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast for sure, with Little Red Riding Hood as a close second.
I think my favorite fairytale is probably Tatterhood. (I was given the book Tatterhood and Other Tales at a formative age. That probably has a lot to do with it. I tend to ignore the end where the sisters go get married to princes and pretend they become pirate queens instead.)

Also, I am not international!
Not sure if this counts as a fairy tale, but Liza Lou and the Yeller Belly Swamp has always been a favorite of mine. For more traditional fairy tales I would go beauty and the beast, but I think that's mostly because of the library in the Disney movie : ).
