A sheep has left the fold, hoofbeats go a'trotting, trotting...

...up to Heaven bold, at the gates a'knocking, knocking.

Inchworm, inchworm, measuring the never-ending parade of ongoing projects, keeping me from losing track of what I'm doing and dissolving into a weeping pile of insecurities and confusion. Hooray!

No fixed deadline/being written/unsold:

The Best Thing
"Carry Me Home"
"Pixie Season"
"These Antique Fables"
"vs. The Melancholy of Autumn"
"vs. A Disturbing Number of Crows"
"Build Me a Wonderland"
"Winter Sunshine"
Magic For Nothing
The Nativity of Chance
Echo

Again, to clarify some recent confusion: some things, especially novel-length things, may appear more than once, on both the "publication date" and "being written" lists. This is because the "being written" list is an aggregate, which also includes "no fixed deadline" (IE, being written on spec or for the website) and "unsold" (IE, being written because I can). So new books will appear there for a long time before they vanish, since books take a long time to write, but may also have pub dates listed higher up.

Look at that list. It's so shiny!

You were announced as the Toast at a convention near me (Kansas City) next year, but it's not yet on your list. Hope that doesn't mean something has changed. I'm looking forward to finally getting to meet you in meat space.
I pretty much don't put conventions here until a) I am on their web sites, and b) they have given me written permission. I've gotten yelled at too many times.

Although now I'm starting to get pissed because half these cons don't update their damn web sites, so I wind up with a lot of "no comment" replies.
I completely understand that. There was much applause when the announcement was made at the closing ceremonies. Looking forward to seeing you!
I found the post on their Facebook. I HATE DOING THAT. But I am tired of being asked, so...guess they just don't get a formal announcement.
Totally fair. I'm sorry. That's very frustrating.
