A RED-ROSE CHAIN giveaway! Because summer is shorter than you think.

I have the ARCs of A Red-Rose Chain, and holy cats, this book is gorgeous. Like, so pretty. Of course, because I'm me, the distance between "look what I have look at the precious let me pet you, the precious" and "oh sweet Great Pumpkin get it out of my house" is about fifteen minutes and time to realize what I've just done to my storage space. So! Giveaway time!

Because I am broke from all that T-shirt mailing right now, and tired of spending over an hour on every visit to the post office—so both financial and mental health reasons—this first giveaway will be US only. I am sorry about that, and will try to have an international giveaway sooner than later. To enter...

1. Comment on this entry. Top-level comments only; replies to existing comments cannot win.
2. Indicate that you have a US mailing address.
3. Name your favorite Toby book.

...and that's all. Three winners will be chosen by our old friend, the random-number generator, on Tuesday, June 23rd. Winners will then have twenty-four hours to get me their contact info, via my website contact form, before their prize is forfeit.

Game on!

ETA: And we are closed.

Favorite book: An Artificial Night. Because Blind Michael is so beautifully creepy, and transforming children into hunters ad hunter's steeds is THE STUFF OF NIGHTMARES. Let's ride the nightmare, shall we?

USA.
I've a California mailing address! It's hard for me to pick a favorite book, because I'm so enthralled by the entire series, but I think that The Winter Long has got to be my favorite right now -- I love the way that Toby's relationships are portrayed in the book, especially her relationship with the Luidaeg (the Luidaeg, squee). This one literally kept me up at night, because I would put the book down, turn out the light to go to sleep, and then be way too revved up to actually sleep.
I'm in the US! Thank you for the chance! Ashes of Honor is my favorite. I can't wait for more Toby!!
I do indeed have a US mailing address. Three or four, even. And my favorite Toby book (so far) is "One Salt Sea", though the most recent two give that one a serious battle for the distinction.
I do have a U.S. Mailing address, and I love the whole series, but overall my favorite is probably An Artificial Night.
Commenting! US-based!

I think my favorite is still An Artificial Night. <3
I have a U.S. Mailing address.

A Local Habitation!
I have a us mailing address and I loved one salt sea. And rosemary and rue.

Thank you for the opportunity!
My favorite Toby book - oy, that's hard. Either One Salt Sea, Chimes at Midnight or The Winter Long. All of the books have favorite bits that I re-read the book again and again to find.

I'm in California

I live in Canada but can provide a US mailing address:) So difficult to pick a favorite Toby book but I am going to go with Chimes at Midnight.
I have a US mailing address, and although picking a favorite Toby book is like picking a favorite child, I'll go with The Winter Long.
Commenting from the US! My favorite book is Ashes of Honor, because Tybalt.
I am so, so thrilled to have seen this -- I know the odds are what they are, but I just finished The Winter Long (literally; I set it down in the "return to library pile" about five minutes ago) and I am so sad to have caught up to the publication schedule, because now I have to wait for more Toby :( Any chance of getting more earlier (no matter how slim) is a chance I have to take! (And thank you for the chance)

I hereby confirm that I have a US mailing address.

My favorite Toby book is The Winter Long -- not because I just finished, but because it's such a game changer. And because it demonstrates just how detailed and consistent and rich your planning and worldbuilding for the series is! (Chimes at Midnight is probably second favorite, though, because Tybalt)
Thanks for the ARC giveaway! Yippe!
US addy.
Ashes of Honor... because Tybalt.

1. Done!
2. Yes!
3. I'm going to say The Winter Long because (a) we learned so much more about what's been going on, (b) Toby and Tybalt are finally together, yay!, and (c) the most recent one is always my favorite...
Wow, started a Live Journal account just for this. :-)

I'm currently re-reading the series to get ready for the next book. I love going back with fresh information and seeing how it plays into everything.

I do have a US mailing address.

Favorite book in the series would be Chimes at Midnight.

I'm in the US and wow, favorite Toby book. I'm going to say Chimes at Midnight since I love how it really plays with a feeling of a fairy tale along with changing how everything works.
I do have a US mailing address and my favorite book is One Salt Sea because of chapter 34.
I have a US mailing address, and my favorite Toby book is The Winter Long, but A Local Habitation is a close second.
