Second hardship giveaway, take two.

Thanks to the generosity of my readers, we are opening a second hardship giveaway. Note that this is a second attempt at the second giveaway, originally opened in February, and not a third giveaway. Sadly, no winners were drawn in the original second giveaway, because there were timing issues and sometimes I get overwhelmed. Anyway...

What is a hardship giveaway? It's where I give away older books (not ARCs or just-released) to people who couldn't afford to buy them when they came out, and/or can't afford them now. It's an honor system: I believe that you will honor my intent, and only enter if you have a genuine need. Because T-shirt mailing is ongoing, this particular giveaway is only open to people with US addresses. I am so sorry about that, I really am, but a) I can't afford international postage (which is sort of contradictory to the whole "hardship" angle), and b) my postal workers will kill me if I add more international shipping right now.

To enter...

1) Comment on this post, indicating that you have a US address.
2) Tell me what book you are hoping to win. Anything I've written that is not listed below.
2a) Hell, feel free to list anthologies.
3) If you have a second choice, list that.
4) If you list a book which I have explicitly stated I do not have, you will be disqualified.

I cannot guarantee that I have any specific book "in stock," as it were, but I am happy to look.

I will choose ten winners on Monday, April 27th. They will have twenty-four hours to contact me to claim their prizes. This will be tightly enforced, as I leave for Orlando at the end of the week.

1) Hello! I live in the US.
2) I would adore a copy of Rolling in the Deep. My local library system doesn't carry it.
3) Indistinguishable From Magic would be an amazing alternative.

My first choice would be A Local Habitation. Second choice, if ALH is not available, would be Midnight Blue-Light Special.

Thanks for organizing this; I know it's just one more thing to do, especially when you are "crap at mailing" -- I know because I am, too.

I would love Discount Armageddon or the earliest Toby book you have on hand. Our library has Rosemary and Rue, but the kids love being able to actually own books they love and that's not something we can give them anymore. And thank you so much for your generosity in giving people this chance.

First Choice: Sparrow Hill Road if at all possible, I've caught enough glimpses at that story to be really intrigued.
Second Choice: Indexing, definitely.
