Since people have apparently been asking...

Hi!

I got a ping from Deborah (who monitors the merch account) yesterday, saying that people have been emailing her to go "WHERE SHIRTS?" First, thank you for using the merch account rather than commenting here. I've asked people to do that, and people are doing it, and that's awesome.

Second, shirts are still being mailed. Only not right this second, because right this second, I am in New York, and my mother, who is home with the shirts, doesn't have access to my bank account to pay for the postage. I've indicated several times that shirts are still being mailed, both directly, and by saying things like "I am still mailing T-shirts" in other posts (usually giveaways). As soon as I get home, I will go to the post office again.

The post office, as it turns out, does not look favorably on my bringing more than twenty packages at a time. Ten if they're international.

So please, don't email until I have made a post saying "all the shirts have been mailed, yes, all of them." Until that point, the answer to "WHERE SHIRTS?" is "in my spare room, waiting to go for a ride in the car."

Didn't arrive as in "it was not in the envelope"? Did you receive an email from me saying that your fourth shirt was one of the ones that was not included in our original delivery? Depending on what you ordered, we may have had to split you into two envelopes, and there is literally no way of keeping those together, but if I sent you that email, then we're still waiting on the printer.

We're never doing this again. Ever. The combination of the volume + people being shitty to my merch staff has killed my enthusiasm (which is almost certainly slowing down mailing, and causing more shittiness, for which I am genuinely sorry), and there will be no more bespoke shirts. Any future runs will be set colors/sizes, and people will be left out, and it will suck, but this is the choice the community made.
Okay, having re-checked my email to make sure, no, there was not an email about the shirt being missing. The original order was four shirts, three of which arrived to noises of delight! The fourth one, a 3x plum Wicked Girls shirt, was not in the package, but circled on the paper slip tucked in with the others.

I have had personally odd luck with wicked girls shirts, so I just assumed something was going on. I will be content to wait until *everything* has shipped to worry too much. Have a good con!
