Let's go to Australia and poke horrible things with a stick for fun!

It's time for my first Pocket Apocalypse giveaway! Hooray! This giveaway is going to be US addresses only; I'm still mailing T-shirts, and my post office workers are starting to mysteriously go on break when I show up, because of all the international packages. I know it's not fair, but I can't add more customs forms to the pile or they're going to close completely.

I will do open-to-international giveaways before the book is released, and I'm hoping to clear out more of the pending packages in the next week or so.

So, the rules for this one:

1. Leave a comment.
2. Indicate that you have a US address I can ship to. (You don't have to live in the US. You just have to have a US address.)
3. Name your favorite cryptid and why.

I will use the RNG to choose three winners on Tuesday, January 27th. But there's a twist! Only one person can win for each cryptid. So be honest! Name your favorite! Just be aware that the odds are lower for the Aeslin mice than for, say, the swamp bromeliads.

The field guide is here, if you need some help.

Game on!

I have a US address and, despite the odds, I still favor the mice greatly. They are so cheerful and I love the way they make up rituals and gods/goddesses and priests/priestesses. I have an interest in religions and how they grow, so these mice just fascinate me. (If I don't win, as is likely, it's no biggie - I'm going to buy it as an ebook anyway.)
I have to pick Aeslin mice. Mice are just part of my heart and soul.
Church Griffins! Because kitties with wings are the best, even if this will be a common favorite.

I am in the US.
woo-hoo! us address. Honestly, my favorite would have to be the Apraxis wasps. Something even the Healy/Price clan try to avoid is rare, and probably super terrifying.
I have a US address for shipping purposes.

Favorite cryptid? Yeah, I've got to go waheela.
I'm in the US. I love the Aeslin mice, but my favorites are the Lesser Gorgons. The hair reminds me of my little girl's hair.
You know what a visit to Australia needs (aside from Dingos, of course) -- Were-Thylacines!

I have a US mailing address (convenient, given that I live there).

And my favorite cryptid are Lesser Griffins! (Who wouldn't love to have a flying cat? Except for the birds and the squirrels and the tree rats).
1. Oxford commas serve a useful purpose. Omitting them forces your reader to rely more on context.
2. I have a U.S. address that you can ship to.
3. Ooh... Tough choice. I was tempted to go with the Madhura because I'm quite fond of baked treats. I'll have to go with the Aeslin Mice though. I dig their sophisticated oral history.
I have a US address, and the fact that this list isn't all "Cuckoos, cuckoos, cuckoos," is clear evidence that they don't really exist. Or maybe that's just what they want us to think. My favorites because who doesn't love a good creepy telepathic predator that you never know is there with a couple of isolated exceptions to prove their hypothetical redeemability, and because I am deeply intrigued by the mystery of their origin.

Today, I get to run a superhero game.

I am in the United States.

The cuckoos will always be my favorite incryptid, because they are the first. Though Sarah is not typical of her species, her species still produced her.
Aeslin mice!!!!!!!! Their adoration is so cute :) thanks for the awesome giveaway! I'm in the USA :)
I live in the US. My favorite cryptid is the Madhura because I spent a lot of time becoming the best baker and candy maker I could and a race of baker, candy makers is dear to my heart.
Good evening to you. I live in PA, so shipment will be no problem. And I must admit to having had a partiality for the Sasquatch. There's a few reasons for this. I've always been fascinated by them for some reason, and I think it's because, theoretically, they're reasonable enough to actually exist. New and isolated species are coming up all the time. Admittedly they tend to be found on the bottom of the ocean or in the deepest rainforests, but why not in our own back yards? And in my case that's accurate, as PA is a state on record as having one of the highest ratings in the country for reported sightings, another reason I'm fond of them. :)
Geez Lousie, would you all stop poking us with sticks? We'll get you all back with our boomerangs;)
1) I have a US address.
2) Favorite cryptid, (at the moment) is the tanuki. They can change in to different shapes, not just one. And Ryan is so cool, I can't wait to read more on his and Istas relationship.
Yes, I have a US Address! :D And I think my favorite cryptid is the Lindworm--primarily because the parts where it showed up were my favorites in Half-Off-Ragnarok. I just love the imagery of this giant reptile rearing up. It both scares and delights me. I have favorite characters who are also cryptids, but if I have to go based on species--the Lindworm wins. I also very much want to ride one.
I am in the US! Specifically in California, actually.

In any event, though I'm torn between frickens and cactus cats, I'm going to have to go with cactus cats. As soon as I saw Kory's illustration, I was done for. Also, who can resist a prickly kitty?
1. You are a wonderful and fantastic human being and your writing makes me so happy inside
2. I live in the US and I'll be here for the next foreseeable future
3. After thinking about it for a long time, I think I'm going to have to go with the Church Griffin (but the Aeslin Mice and Frickens are very close second and third) mostly because I think they would be most willing to snuggle
Hello! I am in the US!

My favorite cryptid - thus far, at least - is the caladrius. Much of this interest is in how you've written about them - it feels like there's a whole lot of story and history to be told about them, with how they might have been involved in the history of medicine (and where did they come from??) and with much lore and myth surrounding them. I like them because I want to know more, I guess.
I think I like the Frickens the best. Something about feathered amphibians. :)

I do have a US address.

Hallo! :D
I make my home in Louisiana.

I think my favorite cryptid is the coatl. I love wings in general and winged snakes are fantastic. Who wouldn't want an adorable snake friend with wings?
I do indeed have a US mailing address. And I cannot help it, I adore the Aeslin mice. I have loved them since before you were published.
