What did I publish in 2014?

Welp. That was sure a year. And it sure is over. And I sure did come out with a lot of stuff. Here's what I published during 2014.

Sparrow Hill Road
The Winter Long
Symbiont

Novellas.

"Oh Pretty Bird"
"The Day the Dead Came to Show and Tell"
"Midway Relics and Dying Breeds"
"Turn the Year Around"

Novelettes.

"The Ghosts of Bourbon Street"
"Stingers and Strangers"
"Each to Each"
"Bury Me In Satin"
"Snakes and Ladders"
"White as a Raven's Wing"

Short stories.

"Black as Blood"
"Blocked"
"Spores"
"Jammed"
"The Lambs"
"We Are All Misfit Toys in the Aftermath of the Velveteen War"
"Knit A Sweater Out of Sky"
"IM"
"BRING ABOUT THE HALLOWEEN ETERNAL!!!"
"Office Memos"
"In Roses"
"Fruiting Bodies"

Non-fiction.

Letters to the Pumpkin King

That is...that's a lot when I put it all in one place like that. I'm going to back away slowly, and maybe go drink something fizzy and faintly alcoholic.

Yes.

You are awesome. Not many published can do that kind of output and keep the quality off. Hats off to you!
I have very, very good beta readers, and spent years in the fanfic mines, both of which help a lot.

I used to be impressed that Terry Pratchett published two novels a year. But five?!

The other problem is that some of the shorter pieces are in collections, which means I find new authors to like and then I need to buy their books too!

My poor wallet!
Your continued efforts to make the world a better place are appreciated.
Thank you.
That is seriously impressive :) And you've more than earned that drink! And rest!
I like rest!
...then curl up with cats & chocolate?
The cats approve.
Wow. Go you! Also, here's a pillow, and some kitty snacks for your blankets.
Yay!
Seeing it all in one place like that is amazing. Even having read most of it already, I was a bit startled to realize how MUCH you published this year.

You are so good to us, your readers! :-) I raise my mug of russian tea to toast your awesomeness!
That's a big shiny list.
Indeed.
For my birthday/Yule/Christmas, my husband bought me all the anthologies I didn't already have (and several cookbooks I wanted). They didn't arrive until Friday, 2 Jan 2015, so I've been busy reading them, although I know they're never going to last until March.

(Are you sure you're not the secret love child of Isaac Asimov?)

(My father says probs not.)

"...Show and Tell" was wonderful. 3 cups of coffee (made for me, not by me) went cold during it because I kept getting lost in the story.

And my Christmas knitting this year ended up being a pair of gloves that I've called "All Hail the Pumpkin King" because the colourway (green, yellow & orange) made me think of you.
Oh, wow.
Dayum, that is a lot of words!! Have a lovely rest, you have most certainly earned it.

Marginally related: I'm reading Scalzi's Lock In, which I don't know if you've read yet, but there's this federal act called "Abrams-Kettering." I keep reading it as "Kellis-Amberlee" and having to stop and go, "Wait, no, wrong futuristic dystopia."
Hee hee hee.
when do you sleep???
Oh. I see I'm not the first to wonder that.

Be well, be healthy, and have a wonderful 2015!
Thank you!
That is one hell of an impressive list.
Thank you.
Wow. Like, damn, woman, that's pretty amazing!
I work a lot.
You know, I thought I did well keeping up with your stuff this year as it came out, until I read that list of short stories and realized how many I missed. whoops.

Wow. That is seriously impressive. All the more so because your writing is so beautifully done!
Thank you.
Would Letters to the Pumpkin King count as Best Related Work for the Hugos?
It would have, she said, belatedly.
