I didn't win, so I just bought another copy of Sparrow Hill Road, as a holiday present for my step-grandniece (my daughter-in-law's sister's stepdaughter). I don't know the girl that well - i only see her for a few hours every Christmas - but she's in the ninth grade, loves to read, and apparently is especially fond of fantasy. People are giving her stuff like LOTR and The Last Unicorn; I thought it would be good to introduce her to a, um - "slightly less traditional", shall we say? - fantasy world :-)
