Some parasites are good for you. Trust me.

The paperback of Parasite by Mira Grant is out now in the North American territories, and I'm celebrating with a giveaway!

Because Parasite was originally released in paperback in the United Kingdom, Australia, and elsewhere, this giveaway is open only to American and Canadian readers. There will be additional giveaways for Symbiont once I have it (although due to cost of postage, I may do a hardcover giveaway in the US and a UK-edition paperback giveaway for elsewhere; I don't know yet).

To enter...

1. Comment on this post.
2. Include your country of origin.
3. If you are in Canada, please indicate your willingness to pay postage. I'm really sorry about this, I just can't afford it right now.

That's it. This is an RNG giveaway, and I am giving away five copies, because I need to make room for the incoming copies of Symbiont. All winners will be selected on Monday, October 20th, at 6:00pm PST.

Game on!

Yeah! Good luck everyone!

First I would love a copy because I like your zombie books, they are fierce, funny and they make you think. Second I love the name Mira Grant, how did you decide on this name. I always think of Mira Furlan of Babylon 5 when I see your name, and I loved Babylon 5 and its great characters and stories.
Dear Gail;

I am afraid you did not follow the rules of the contest, and are thus not eligible to win.

All best,
Seanan

I may love my kindle, but there's something more magical about physical copies...
I am from the US and would love to have another of your books!
love your books, so glad you are continuing your zombie series, love George. I also think that since I live in NYC, which is in the United States, if we have any kink of massive invasion, alien, zombie , vampire, sine we have gone through a terrorist threat and 9-11, we might be spared further invasions, and hopefully they whatever they are will hit Chicago or Los Angeles or Las Vegas. New York has been through enough, 9-11 and 2 yrs ago Sandy . Pick on somebody else.
Respectfully yours, a New Yorker.
Yay! I would love a copy.

Currently in Detroit, MI, USA

Good luck to all!
Coolness!

I'll likely buy an e-copy too, because I like being able to my entire library with me when I travel.

I would love to own a paperback copy of this. Silly me, the only copy I got was given to a friend I may never get it back from.

Located in the United States!
Huge fan, would love a copy. I'm in the USA. :)

We need more books like this!
Loving the local spots! We moved Concord last spring, and I love it here. That bowling alley is...a strange place, as are some parts of this area that seem...left behind. Also the weirdness of the military hills, and the delta towns. We need a genre of Delta Noir. Seriously.
