We just went down to LA (from Modesto, so not a huge trip like yours) for three days, and when we got back, you would've thought we were responsible for the next Ice Age. The cat that is more mine than not (Feisty) wouldn't even look at me for about eight hours.
I tell you, getting the cold shoulder from a cat really puts life into perspective.
