This isn't what I asked, though. I'm getting a little frustrated, because what I asked for was "where are the holes," not "what do you want to see in the future stories." This is not a hole. This is an event that has yet to happen.
I'm sorry for your frustration, but it's a little hard to know what you're looking for. You asked: What stories do you feel were "skipped"? What would you like to see them deal with or encounter? What's missing?
From the fan's point of view, "Who killed Daniel?" fits all three of those categories. You may have already planned how this is going to be resolved, but we have no way of knowing that. From the outside, it looks like a gap between stories. (I imagine they would have wanted to resolve that before having Alice, lest they lose another child the same way.)
I was fine with the initial "I want to see this." It was when you started pushing ("Perhaps you would consider sharing that information with your loyal (and anxious) fans at some point... ") that I got uncomfortable and frustrated. Maybe it's a California thing, but "perhaps you would consider" is the sort of thing I expect from authority figures, not on a post saying "what would you like to see in the future."

(Since we have a young son, that story hit me really hard, so I've been very anxious to find out what happened.)
