Guess who's coming to the family reunion?

I am absolutely delighted to be able to announce that DAW has acquired the sixth and seventh books in the InCryptid series. These volumes will be narrated by the youngest member of the current Price clan, Antimony Timpany Price, and will see publication in 2017 and 2018, respectively. (2015 is Pocket Apocalypse, narrated by Alex, and 2016 is Chaos Choreography, narrated by Verity.) These books are titled, drumroll please...

Magic for Nothing
and
Tricks for Free

Again, it's going to be a little while before we get to Annie and her rampantly gleeful destruction of everything around her, but...the series will continue! Books six and seven!

Everything is awesome!

I just literally squealed out loud in delight, first when I saw the announcement bit and then when I saw the titles because BEST. TITLES. EVER. Pretty sure sometime in 2018 I'll be posting a fic called 'Aeslin Kitchen Deliveries'.

I'm elated to hear that the Cryptid universe will continue and dismayed that we're even _discussing_ 2018. My _god_ that seems like a long time from! These will, however, have pride of place as the first entries for those years on my "upcoming books" calendar (placed firmly in the "to buy" column, not just the "to read" one). They're going to be lonely there for quite a while, though. :-P

This makes me happy. I love the InCryptid series :) And yes, I love Alex as well - even though I am happy to hear that there is another Verity one to be had before you hand over to Antimony.
(Currently reading to find out what turned the lindworms eyes to stone ... :))
