I never jumped in and rescued you, but I wanted to...

...I didn't tell you which way to go, 'cause I thought you'd know.

This is the shape of my 2014, with travel dates and everything. Beautiful travel dates. Hope to see you sometime in the months to come. It's a brand new year! It's shiny and mostly unused! I hope you kept the receipt!

Sparrow Hill Road release party, May 10, Borderlands Books, San Francisco CA.
Phoenix Comic-Con, June 5-8, Phoenix AZ.

No fixed deadline/being written/unsold:

"Bury Me In Satin"
"White as a Raven's Wing"
"Fruiting Bodies"
"Decay"
"And Men Will Mine the Mountains For Our Souls"
"Fiber"
"Carry Me Home"
"Pixie Season"
"These Antique Fables"
"Pathologies of the Apocalypse"
A Red-Rose Chain
Echo
Chaos Choreography

Again, to clarify some recent confusion: some things, especially novel-length things, may appear more than once, on both the "publication date" and "being written" lists. This is because the "being written" list is an aggregate, which also includes "no fixed deadline" (IE, being written on spec or for the website) and "unsold" (IE, being written because I can). So new books will appear there for a long time before they vanish, since books take a long time to write, but may also have pub dates listed higher up.

Look at that list. It's so shiny!

For some reason the fact that you're going to Filk Continental makes me very happy, even though I'm nowhere near Germany of course. I think it's because that part of your life's still there, still existent, and hasn't been shunted aside (much?) because of your change to Priestess of Writing All the Time and Getting to Nap.
Honestly, most of the shunting has been a matter of feeling awkward among crowds of people who know me for things other than filk, and don't want to talk about my music. It's weird to go to a filk con and be A WRITER, not a filker.
Oh, punkin, that sucks. Especially since your music is awesome and I personally think that if people took the time to listen to it they'd feel the same instead of wondering why you're there to sing instead of talk about writing. I know I for one find the stories you tell in your songs fascinating.

Maybe with Sparrow Hill Road coming out you'll be able to remind people of the existence of PLDG?
Even some filkers don't treat me like a filker anymore. It makes me really sad. :(

Here's hoping.
That is genuinely shitty. Especially considering I saw on Tumblr mention of a new album. I was going to reblog it with yay about the album, but given that it was in the context of horrible back pain (with which I can 100% empathise, having just been told I have the same issue), I thought it would be tacky.

And I just remembered that PLDG is out of print, but people could get Wicked Girls because of 'Counting Crows', and also because of the overall awesome. I for one will be mentioning the album when I tell people about Sparrow Hill Road. Maybe I'm biased, having known you so long, but I think people should know about all your awesome, not just your writer awesome.
Also remember that "Pretty Little Dead Girl" is on Stars Fall Home.
...I own both releases of that.

DUH. *smacks forehead*
