FOGcon this weekend! Be there or be somewhere else!

Just a friendly reminder that you can see me and the ever-awesome Tim Powers this very weekend at FOGcon, in Walnut Creek, California. Enjoy a small convention atmosphere with awesome guests, awesome attendees, and a lot of awesome things to do. It's a trifecta of awesome, and I hope I get to see you there!

(Sadly, the cats do not enjoy car rides, so Thomas will not be making an appearance. But my mother will, and you know you want to meet her. She's a lot of fun.)

ETA Wait, that sounds deranged. I'm baking pumpkin-cheese muffins for you tomorrow and wondered if you'd like them a bit spicy with fresh ginger.

I actually love meeting people's mothers (well, parents, really). Its really interesting to me to see bits of people's personalities and see where it all came from. When I met Ferrett's mother I was like "I now understand where your son gets his sense of humor."

Have fun! We were sad to discover that FOGcon and Consonance are the same weekend, so we won't be there, but we'll see you at Borderlands on the 15th.

I wish I could come! Unfortunately this is the weekend of ten thousand things. Have a fantastic time!

In happy news, I will be able to come to the book launch party because those ten thousand things are this weekend and not next weekend. So at least I have that to look forward to!
