I'm in the US, and yes, I wrote a filk -- surely that counts as a poem? I'll give you three guesses as to the tune, and the first two don't count...

We're coming, we're coming, our weird little band,
Adoring incryptids, we do make our stand,
We don't like the Cov'nant because do think
That if you hate dragons you must be a fink!

CHORUS:
Hooray, hooray for bogeymen,
For bogeymen,
For bogeymen!
Hooray, hooray for bogeymen!
That's the song of Incryptid Fandom!

We do not bug waheela 'cause waheela fight back,
And no one can live through a waheela attack.
What is the point when one little spat,
Results in your spleen being worn as a hat?

CHORUS

All three types of gorgons are stranger than these,
And since they're part snakes, they never have fleas.
Oh can you imagine how calm is life's tone,
When door-to-door preachers all turn to stone?

CHORUS

More verses are, of course, possible...
