Seanan in the winter,
Has she yet a coat?
Where are mice incrytpid
(Is the coat fur stoat?)

Snowy weather's coming
To Boskone so next week,
Likely will be cold and white
To Californians bleak!

Where's that new book's setting?
Is it someplace cold?
Is it New York City,
Where Verity took hold?

Is it Calfornia
Which normally is warm,
But so far this winter,
The weather's out of form.

Snow in New York City
Or Boston or in Maine
In the midst of winter
Is standard frozen rain.

Snow in Palo Alto
Or San Francisco Bay
Is something quite unusual
And gets in people's way.

Ragnarok's a Norse thing
Their hells all snow and ice,
And so this rotten weather is
A publicity device!

==================
Snowstorm predicted for tomorrow,, five maybe more inches of snow in expected in Boston, and another storm's predicted for this coming weekend. It is highly unlikely that it shall have melted by Thursday of next week (the snow that had been on the ground mostly was gone Sunday, which was up to 50F before it started cooling off again, and there was snow yesterday. )
