On the twelfth day of Hogswatch, your Seanan gave away...

...a unique Seanan McGuire birthday swag pack, valued at we have no idea, half this stuff was never available for sale.

So Disneyland was a little more exhausting than anticipated, and the eleventh and twelfth days of Hogswatch got pushed back a bit. I'm sorry about that. This is the posting for the eleventh of the Twelve Days of Hogswatch. Each giveaway has different rules, and a different deadline, although all prizes will be mailed on January 9th, because I am bad at going to the post office.

The final giveaway is for a birthday swag pack, assembled by yours truly. It will contain:

* A copy of the art bookmark I designed several years ago for Borderlands. These bookmarks have been gone for years, and have clownfish mermaids all over them. Super cute, and a rare example of my working in full color.
* A Slasher Chicks T-shirt. You get to pick the size, although sizes are limited (it was a very short run), so I can't promise I'll have the one you want. But hey, it would be a rockin' present for somebody else.
* A copy of your choice of Wicked Girls or Stars Fall Home, signed.
* One of the unique, never-for-sale "I'm with the band" passes we make for the Traveling Circus. I don't have passes from all events, but I can check to see if I have a specific title (Seanan books only).

my birthday isnt for another 6 months, and my Hogswatch loot wasnt all that prolific. I havent been to a Disney theme park since that Worldcon... I have a life of deprived events.

There is lots to be thankful for, but, this loot would make things so much more better.. an added plus if things are shiny!

My Wife, however... is currently on the verge of tears while trying to get Elance to cough up the money she's earned that's overdue and frozen by them between her 'boss' and our account. seems they do almost NO contact about money issues over the phone... but she can't get to the helpchat because they've frozen her account... and the seem disinclined to respond to email in anything like a timely manner.

I think hearing that this wonderful gift was in the mail would brighten a very shitty week to no end. She's a fan and would be tickled breathless cherry red at the news.

Commenting on this post, not international.

Because I've decided I need a redo of the beginning of 2014, and have chosen January 17th, my birthday as the redo. There will be no more medication mismanagement, no more bad backs, no more pipes freezing, no more snowblowers breaking and none of the pets will have fleas. There will only be ludicrously fluffy cats and really good homemade food.

I am in New Zealand and can pay postage.
I think i probably dont deserve this gift cause there are other people out there who deserve it more.
That being said I would like to win.
Um my birthday is on the 12th of jan (this sunday) and im going to be away from my family for it.
Im currently in the process of shifting islands because i will be studying this year, which is stressing me out cause my new flatmates keep trying to get me to organise house stuff even though they are in the same city as the house and i am at the other end of the country.

I love the idea of giving presents on your birthday. I've just fallen headfirst into your books and, to be honest, that's gift enough for me. I mostly just wanted to say thank you for keeping me entertained these last few weeks - I am looking forward to reading the rest of your books this year. Happy birthday!

I deserve a pressie because I work in a college bookstore and we are in the middle of Rush. And I am the head textbook buyer and get ALL THE PROBLEMS.

Plus, I am an Owlcat, which equals cute and fluffy in the extreme. *big cute Owlkitty eyes and fluffy hugs* :)

Why I *deserve* it? Gosh, I don't know about deserving anything. It's not like I'm bigger than your other fans, or more hardcore, or could explain the intricacies of bacteriology any better...but I do have a daughter nicknamed The destroyer, who would look totally badass in that shirt. Especially if it was too big for her.

Screeeeeeeee omg okay. So I am a USian, and I deserve this birthday gift because I just graduated from graduate school this December! I earned my master's degree in library science, and I am now off on a magical journey to move to California, live with my bestest best friend ever, raise cats, and be an awesome reference librarian. So I deserve it because libraries and librarians are awesome and I successfully completed a hell of a lot of work. Pretty please. :D

I would love to win.

I don't want to give a sob story, but it's been a rough year. I don't know if I deserve to win, but I know it would brighten my life immeasurably. I also have a deep and abiding love for mermaids, and I've never seen a clownfish mermaid, and. I'd really like to.

Most of all, happy birthday. Here's to another year with you in my life from afar, making awesome art and writing wonderful stories that are yours alone to tell. I'm in the US. I deserve this gift because I broke my ankle while bringing laundry down the stairs. So, now I'm dependent on everyone else, making it hard to care for my three kids. Thank the Great Pumpkin for my very supportive family. My spanky new red and purple cast isn't letting me exercise (which I don't like, but was trying to grow up and do what I need to do). Anyway, the year isn't exactly off to a great start. I'd love to get a box of Seanan goodness to raise my spirits. I'd even share with my best friend who had to have her kitty of 14 yrs put down today.

I hope you have a fantastic birthday and that your year is off to a better start than mine.

Along with sharing a love of Resident Evil, snark, and media criticism with my husband, you also share a birthday with my husband. This is not about me. But obviously, this coincidence is a sign from the cosmos that wonderful goodies should come to me and give me an happy escape after having had one of those days at work at which I am proud of the work I am doing but doing it was emotionally very, very hard (I work in a family court. Most of what we hear is stupid crap involving people fighting about the equitable distribution of the summer home on the shore. Some of it is about how to keep a child safe. Today, it was about how to keep a child safe.)

I am in the US and I deserve this gift because after our 2013 (premature baby who had a long NICU stay, postpartum depression, drained savings accounts = I can barely afford to buy the occasional CD, nearly lost husband's grandfather to lung problems, zero luck in the full-time job department, argh), I need something to squee over and I would squee so loudly you'd hear it all the way in San Francisco. *nodnod*

Also because that is an awesome prize pack and I just...want the awesome. :D
