SPARROW HILL ROAD cover reveal.

Psst. C'mere.

So it's no secret around here that I love, love, love my DAW covers, or that showing them off is one of my true pure joys in life. Aly Fell, who designs the covers for the InCryptid books, has been everything I could have hoped for in a cover artist. He's incredible. Want proof?

Go ahead. Take a peek.

Behold the pretty:

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS OH MY GOD IT'S THE COVER TO SPARROW HILL ROAD AND IT'S GORGEOUS!

This is...there are no words for how much I love this picture of Rose Marshall. No words. She's perfect. From her green satin shirt to her disappearing feet, sitting on her car in the corn, she's perfect. Just...perfect.

I'm so happy.

(As always, I claim full comment amnesty, although I love it when you comment, because I can show my cover artists and make them happy.)

The woman (not Jude, someone I hadn't talked to before) who answered the phone at Borderlands Books in SF last week hadn't heard "Indexing" was due out in book form in a few months. So I set her straight with the info. :) Fortunately, she did know about the upcoming Sparrow Hill collection and the new Incryptid novel!

...Does that Sparrow Hill cover download into a size big enough to be nice wallpaper on my laptop? Because I'm about to find out.

Also, I haven't seen or heard any mention of a book release party, and I know you just had one for _Parasite_,
so it was too soon for preorders with Borderlands, she said. But I feel fairly confident that official book party or not, copies of lovely new novels bought at Borderlands will eventually get signed by you at some point. I'm happy to wait. :)

P.S. I love the stylized chain saw that Mira drew on my copy of _Parasite_, along with the book quote you so graciously came back later and added. Awesome, awesome, awesome. It's the little things, you know?
(Big thing: I must get up at 7 p.m. to drive with my father to Montgomery for a continuing legal education class. I am not a morning person...Argh.)

I would expect not, given that it's very small? Official wallpapers, sized for use on most laptops/desktops, will be released around late April.
