So it's no secret around here that I love, love, love my DAW covers, or that showing them off is one of my true pure joys in life. Aly Fell, who designs the covers for the InCryptid books, has been everything I could have hoped for in a cover artist. He's incredible. Want proof?

This is...there are no words for how much I love this picture of Rose Marshall. No words. She's perfect. From her green satin shirt to her disappearing feet, sitting on her car in the corn, she's perfect. Just...perfect.

I'm so happy.

Spectacular indeed.

In particular, it's impressive in that I can see the stylistic resonance with the Incryptid covers -- but this one has a really distinct period-sense that makes it clear this is Its Own Thing. That's the mark of a skilled artist indeed.
