Something from episode 9 is bugging me.

When they had Demi all tied up tight, so she couldn't even tap out a tune... What was to stop her from just using her voice? Just like Henry did? Even when she was gagged, why couldn't she just hum? A gag doesn't stop a hum.

Demi is a piper and not a siren. She can use basic percussion, which means that tapping feet or fingers might work—it also might not, keep in mind that they were taking precautions—but her voice has no power at all.

Mmm, okay. That doesn't seem completely logical to me, but of course things are not always logical, especially where magic is involved. Thanks!
