Body language is VERY important. I once read that there are three ways to tell a lie. You can tell a complete lie that has no truth in it at all or you can mix truth and lie together. The third way to tell a lie involves telling the complete truth AS UNCONVINCINGLY AS POSSIBLE! And for that to happen, you had better be good at using body language. Julius Fast's book Body Language came out in 1970 and was laughed at as being "pseudo-science" at best. No one's laughing now though considering that almost all people in any sort of public service wind up taking at least one course in it these days. :)
