So it's no secret around here that I love, love, love my DAW covers, or that showing them off is one of my true pure joys in life. Aly Fell, who designs the covers for the InCryptid books, has been everything I could have hoped for in a cover artist. He's incredible. Want proof?

Alex looks like he's ready for either violence or SCIENCE (they share a lot of letters) and Shelby is just wishing whatever's lurking in the shadows would get on with it and they're perfect and I'm so happy.

Oh, those are nice boots. Nice socks, too. Practical and they look like the sort of things outdoorsy people would actually wear.

(Bit annoying that the pocket on Shelby's shirt looks fake, but sadly realistic when it comes to women's clothing. No, really, I would use a breast pocket for things, even if it was just to clip a name-tag, or put the battery-pack of a microphone for a talk. (Yes, this is a long-standing pet peeve of mine).)
