CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT open thread!

To celebrate the release of Chimes at Midnight, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book. Judging by the comments I'm seeing, some of you have had time, and I'd really, really rather book discussion (sometimes including spoilers) didn't crop up on other posts.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned. (I will not reply to every comment; I call partial comment amnesty. But I may well join some of the discussion, or answer questions or whatnot.) I will be DELETING all comments containing spoilers which have been left on other posts. No one gets to spoil people here without a label.

You can also start a discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Have fun, and try not to bleed on the carpet.

It's taken me much longer to get to commenting than it took me to read. I was still finishing up my re-read of the rest of the series when my copy was delivered to me at work. Yes, delivered, because of my sleep schedule, and the distance between me and a store that was going to have a copy. I'd bribed a friend on Sunday night to go picky me up a copy when she bought hers, and bring it to me. It was probably 3 in the morning or so when I got to the point I could read it, and I stayed up past 9am devouring the story whole.

As usual, I had an immediate desire for *MORE*. I do have to say I was fascinated by the Library, and will enjoy getting to see more of it whenever that happens. Also, lots of love for The Luideag, and her willingness to reveal even just slightly more about herself, and her feelings for Toby. Also, I adore how you handled the reveal on Quentin's parents, but yes, I will ad my voice to the throngs of those who wanted to see them meet Toby.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)
