VELVETEEN VS. THE MULTIVERSE cover reveal and update.

So I know you've all been waiting anxiously to see the cover of Velveteen vs. The Multiverse, and I am delighted to finally be able to oblige you. But! Nothing beautiful comes without a cost, and so I must regretfully inform you all that, due to production issues, Velveteen vs. The Multiverse has been delayed slightly, and will not be available at Musecon. Believe me, no one is more disappointed than I am.

Pre-orders are available now, and you can find the information here:

http://isficpress.com/multiverse.php

You may notice that the cover price has increased, from $25 for the first volume to $30. Well, that's because this volume is literally twice as long, and thus cost more to print. You are getting so much extra bang for your buck, I can't even begin to express my joy.

And now, behold the pretty:

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS OH MY GOD IT'S THE COVER TO VELVETEEN VS. THE MULTIVERSE AND IT'S GORGEOUS!

All the versions of Velveteen are there, Marionette and Roadkill and everybody! I could not be happier.

What do you think?

Yay Velveteen!
Do you realize that none of these versions look like their still trying to be 18, none of them have used Botox, and they all look great? Makes me happy that your illustrator is so great.

Nitpick - doesn't Marrionette have strings on her wrists?
Have you read to the end of the arc?
Awesome! I love that she has visible nasolabial folds, which you never see on covert art, despite characters frequently being in their 30s.
Yup!

Great news! Time to do a pre-order. The first volume was the gateway drug for your work - I picked up a signed copy on a whim at DreamHaven in Minneapolis, and then had to ration the online installments once I'd devoured the hardcover. Other purchases followed, including a second copy of Velveteen for my daughter.
Excellent.
As much as I like the art, I'm frustrated that the title is so hard to read. This seems to happen a lot with small press books; it must be more difficult than I think.
I don't find it hard to read? But I've also seen it full-sized; this is very reduced from the hardcover size.
'zat is awesome-looking! Bookmarked for when I have cash again (unexpected funeral and wedding ate my slush fund) and on my Christmas list if I don't get cash by then.
Glee.
OOOOH, SHINY!

I just preordered three. (Sent out a text to both the people I bought copies for last year, asking if they wanted to bulk order, and got a response so fast that I'm almost surprised my phone didn't explode.)
Yay!
The look on her face is a sort of resigned "Why is the universe kicking me in the face again?"

I also much appreciate the fact that she looks like a real woman in good athletic shape, not what Hollywood teaches us to expect.
Me, too.
Since I couldn't find this information on the website and I already bothered the publisher with the question: the ebook versions are not encumbered with any DRM, and they do sell them to people outside the USA. I just bought the first one, and I'm looking forward the buying the next one as soon as it comes out.
Awesome.
Oooh, so exciting! When is the ebook version coming? *steps impatiently about in circles*
It should be available shortly. (As in, within the next week or so.)
I never know; you have to ask the publisher.
