"How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea" is out today!
It's July, and you know what that means: a new Newsflesh novella! This year's release is "How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea," in which Mahir Gowda travels to Australia and tries to come to terms with the fact that people are people everywhere in the world.
If you've been missing the world of Feed, and have $2.99 to spare, this is the adventure for you! (I know, I know, "if you have three bucks, this is awesome" isn't the best marketing slogan in the world, but it's what I can come up with before eight o'clock in the morning. Work with me.)
Mahir! Air travel! Zombie kangaroos! This novella has everything, and it should have you. Available now in the US and Canada, July 17th in the United Kingdom.
Only problem is, I now want stories about the Rising in Australia. I want the story of the woman the airfield was named after. I want to see people facing down zombie marsupials *without* the fence. I want... more. *pout*
It was so awesome! I love your world-building. I love Mahir's voice. I hope we hear more of it in future novellas (And I would love to hear directly from Nandini someday. I adore Mahir's descriptions of her.)
Oh, this was just lovely. I read it and then I bought a copy as a gift for my Australian friend. It made me wish for more more more Newsflesh but then the taster at the end for the new series got me all intrigued. Why can't I have more Mira Grant NOW? ( She said petulantly, stamping her foot....)
Nooooo, not zombified cute fuzzy-wuzzy wombats! Diary of a Wombat will never be the same again!
I have a bigger crush than ever on Mahir.
Two heterosexual relationships in one novella, Seanan? Tsk, tsk, you'll get e-mails about that!
I have not been good enough (yet) to go to Australia or to Newfoundland, but I am thankful that the world has been good enough to go on journeys with Seanan.

The chapter headings made me giggle.

Nandini will probably never narrate; she doesn't have time for such silliness.
