A poll of sorts.

Saw the film, loved the film, wrote a song (Tribes of the Moon, used to gig it with the Beasts, many years ago). Had for a while a book of the film telling the story in storyboards - not at all the same as 'I read the book', of course. Also had once the book of the residents of Midian, with detailed and disturbing pictures and backstories of many of the monsters - many more than were named or properly 'met' in the film.

When we dream, we dream of being smoke, or of flying... :-)

Um. I clearly carry a lot more memory of that world and its inhabitants than I had guessed, given the intervening years... thank you for the reminder. And if I find the song in rough anywhere I'll send it you for fun.

I rememer that book now! I drooled over it at the bookstore, but it was too rich for my college-student blood, and I wasn't quite enough of a fan to justify saving up for it, even though the costume-geek portion of my brain was screaming for it.
