A poll of sorts.

Who here has read Cabal, by Clive Barker, or seen the movie based on the book (which was titled Nightbreed)?

Comment amnesty is on, this is a fact-finding expedition.

Read it, think I still have a copy around here somewhere - I'd have to check the book catalog to be sure.
Own the book the novella's in and the movie (on VHS). Intend to do Shuna Sassi as a costume someday.
Haven't read Cabal, quite enjoyed Nightbreed, though it's been a very very long time. I recall the premise and broad strokes of plot, and being impressed with both the creature design and the performances of the actors augmented/encumbered by it.

Also, someone once did an AMAZING porcupine lady in the MediaWest masquerade, using varied lengths of clear vinyl tubing for the quills. It was gorg.
I read it many moons ago. As I recall I rather enjoyed it. Also saw the movie version. Was not half bad given the usual quality of adaptations then.
I love both. It was the first work to introduce me into a community of and for monsters, I think.
Nope, neither.
Read the story, saw the movie, always been curious about the comic. Especially the ones that cross-over with the Hellraiser Cenobites...
Watched the movie first, read the book a year or so later.
I have read the movie and seen the book...wait, scratch that, reverse it.
Yes to both.

I did both
Seen the film, read the book, bought the book but not the film, haven't read any of the comics.
