Better late than never: America's favorite dancer is...

...VERITY PRICE!

Midnight Blue-Light Special debuted at #20 on the New York Times Bestseller List, making it the first book in the InCryptid series to make the print list (the entries on the NYT List that are printed in the paper, rather than just being posted on the website). This is a massive jump from Discount Armageddon, and I could not be happier or more honored.

Thank you all so much for reading, and for following me into this candy-coated heart of darkness. It is an honor, and I am so excited for you to find out what happens next, in Ohio, with Alex.

It's gonna be a party.

I received a panicked facebook message this weekend from a friend reading it - she wanted reassurance that the change of narrator didn't signal anything permanent.
I blame Mira for traumatizing up all...

By the way, I devoured read Midnight Blue-Light Special at high speed, reread Discount Armageddon, then reread MB-LS. Then I moved them to my comfort books collection in the headboard bookshelf, along with the Toby Daye series. :)

Have devoured MBLS and the rest of the family is reading it or DA, depending on whether they wanted to re-read DA first. MBLS is likely to be one of our book club selections for next month as well.

congratulations!

audiobooks had a special on the audiobook. So, this is the first book that I own in all three formats - audiobook, print book, and ebook. Print for the lending (with warnings that since it's the second in the series I won't lend the next one - I only lend out the first two in a series these days to encourage people to start buying them). Audiobook appears to be for commuting. I have been sick and it's exciting enough despite having read it a few times already to keep me awake during short transfers.

Looking forward to a book with an Alex as a protagonist. :)

Really enjoyed MB-LS. Loved the shift of narrator, though I of course wish things had turned out differently for her. Hard not to think that you are setting up something huge and BAD with her and the other Cuckoos.

And now that Dominic is on the side of the good guys, he's that much more my favorite. (I am, as ever, a fanboy for boy scouts.)

I lent it to my mom and after she raced through it, she texted me at 2 am asking me where book 3 was. I directed her to the Field Guide and the short stories to help with the withdrawal.....and I'm going to start her on the Toby books soon.

Also, Ryan and Istas are cute and awesome and I am really looking forward to seeing the story you're writing from her POV.
