Heh.

Good plan.
Lots of stuff on here I'm looking forward to! Sadly, I don't think our travel schedules overlap. The only con I'm hitting this year is ReaderCon. :-(
Aw, sad. :(
Sweet! We were discussing the release on Parasite last night...in connection to the possible zombification of medical school cadavers...conclusion was that it would be much easier to zombify the students.

We're very much looking forward to it!
What, you mean the students aren't already reduced to zombies by constant studying? That must be rectified immediately! Notify the profs! ;D

"That Nitro-9 That You're Not Carrying: Violence and the Companion"

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yup.

Good answer.
"Frontier ABCs: The Life and Times of Charity Smith, Schoolteacher"

*picks up title*
*rolls around in it*
Hee hee hee yay.
Ah, you *are* going to the worldcon... Good, very good... This time I must remember to bring my copy of "Ravens in the Library".
I am!
I kinda hesitate to ask this cause I feel like I might have missed something on your blog and you are so incredibly busy. But I seem to remember you said something at one point about doing a follow up cd to "Red Roses and Dead Things". Is that still in the plans? It's my favorite CD of your music...
It is in progress! However, Seanan's albums involve a heck of a lot of very busy people, including Seanan herself, so it progresses kinda slowly from the perspective of us who just want the shiny disc of goodness to put in our laptops. :)

It will come!

Hmm...looks like Rand and I may need to make special plans if we want to see you at all this year!
Sad but true. :(
Oops! Did I send you the wrong dates? The next Norwescon is April 17-20 (we're always on Easter weekend).
Oh thank heavens, that'll be a month after the Game Developers Conference!

(GDC was why I did the Thursday night concerts solo. I'm pleased it went OK but like them being separate ;)

I'm looking at the JorndanCon stuff and I was wondering if you would post your schedule. I'm thinking of driving in from TN but would probably only be able to do a day so I want to make sure I come on the correct day. Thanks!!!
Sorry I missed this!
"That Nitro-9 That You're Not Carrying: Violence and the Companion"
...I am very, very intrigued by this. I cannot wait until we get to know more.
It's done, and I'll post updates when I have them!
You know, I used to wish and wish and wish for a writer who could almost keep up with reading habit (at least the part that isn't content to reread and reread and read fanfiction). Then I look at your list for the last half of the year and I realize that I got my wish. Something new to look forward to each month.

But by all that is green and growing, I hope you find time to sleep.

I have somehow managed to avoid the Doctor Who fandom (mainly because I want to start at the beginning and I don't have that kind of money or time (I mean the first doctor beginning)) but with titles like "That Nitro-9 That You're Not Carrying: Violence and the Companion" I might just have to. (It won't be the first show I had to watch because of you (eyes the Veronica Mars on her phone)
I do my very best to sleep. Sometimes it even works...
I put in my preorder for Parasite on Amazon and it said the release date is October 29. I know that's two days off from November and thus my making note of this fact could possibly be considered nitpicky, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Parasite can't arrive soon enough for my liking. Mira seems to like writing about how humans tinkering with living things comes back to bite us in the ass. Hard. Mira seems extremely unappreciative of all the hard work research scientists put into making our lives better. All hail science! Science exists to make our lives better, and we should trust it with a mindless trust that asks no questions and does whatever it tells us. Science is our kind, benevolent, all-seeing god. Science loves us and wants us to drink this sweet, sweet Kool-Aid...
It's not nipicky at all! The book actually moved to an October date, which is why the confusion.
